All fourth graders at my son’s elementary school presented a musical performance for family and friends about the history of California. It ended with the patriotic Lee Greenwood song, God Bless the U.S.A.
I cannot help it but I am sentimental and very proud and honored to be a citizen of this great, great country. Yet while I listened to the inspiring words, I had a bittersweet feeling come over me. Read carefully some of the key lyrics from this song as follows:

Well today ladies and gentlemen almost everywhere you turn you see our freedoms being taken away from us. From the NSA collecting all of our phone records and storing them at our expense and potential peril. From local police departments using Stingray devices to not only track phone messages of suspected criminals but also all other people within a mile radius of the so-called target.
Go to a city council meeting and speak before the council members during public comments. The normal response no matter how serious your issue is usually complete silence to your concerns. However, if a political ally speaks glowingly about the council members, you can expect much banter back and forth. Yet we the public allow those council members who are our representatives to get away with their apparent disdain for our opinions and us.
Now we have a proposed bill California SB 277 that wants to make all vaccines mandatory taking away the personal beliefs and religious exemptions.
Many of you know the City of Fullerton’s attempt to take my freedom away. Why did they attempt to do this? I believe it was because I had the audacity to speak out against a policy supported by a majority of our city leaders. This is not the time for meekness nor apathy or complacency. We are at a crossroads today. Without a ground swell of opposition to this concerted effort by the political elites to take more and more freedom away and place it in the hands of those who many times have hidden agendas that are not in our best interests.
I implore each and every one of you who reads this message to get involved in you local government. Learn what is going on and speak out when it is at cross-purposes of our freedom and our United States Constitution.

My friend Anaheim James, is one of the most peaceful protesters I know, he was in fact wearing a “no violence” sign on his back when a little over a year ago a police car, filed with soft, slow, angry officers, tried to run him down at a protest we held after the verdict in the Kelly Thomas case came in. Thankfully AJ is swift of foot, he leaped over the hood of the cop car, and as these photos show, dispersed the scene like the fucking wind. Despite all evidence showing James out dispersing overpaid, and overfed fullerton officers, he was arrested 3 months later and charged with … Get this… “FAILURE TO DISPERSE A RIOT”. AJ along with Patti Beers, Juan Zuleta and Adam Adler, all friends of mine, and all equally unjustly charged, will go on trial at north court on March 11th and they are all facing six months in jail if found guilty. According to the 170 page police report, 47 uniformed officers, and multiple plain clothes officers were there to keep the peace on the day of the protest. I was there as well, and there was No fucking Riot. If there had been a riot, you know like every ordinary 2am on a Friday night, it would be the incompetence of this department which should be on trial as they outnumbered us 3-1 by the end of the day.
When the district attorney’s office goes to such great lengths, and is finally tenacious about a prosecution, in order to prosecute protesters, who like AJ, were doing nothing more than filming the police, and they do so at a protest which only came about because this same DA’s office was so incompetent and unmotivated that they could not get guilty verdicts in a murder that a nation watched unfold on national TV, there is something seriously sinister with the OC judicial system. I contend in fact that every single charge against every single protester, represents one more blow, one more boot, one more taser shot, and on moe gloved fist to the legacy of Kelly Thomas.
AJ, Patti Beers, Juan Zuleta and Adam Adler, deserve and need your support, their legal costs are mounting and the press is mostly absent on this story. Please get involved!! One victim in this case is more than enough. More info on how to donate will be posted shortly.

A Recent Incident I Witnessed in Downtown Fullerton by

After hearing Fullerton resident Judith Kaluzny speak at the last City Council meeting about much needed awareness for pedestrians crossing our streets within the crosswalks I am reminded of a situation that I witnessed a few months ago.
While driving my car south on Harbor Blvd. just north of Chapman at approximately 10 in the morning I stopped at the crosswalk to allow a pedestrian to cross from Angelo & Vinci’s restaurant towards Big Slice Pizza. In the lane next to me was an on-duty Fullerton motorcycle policeman. The officer and I both watched as the woman began to cross in the crosswalk and then 2 cars heading north drove right through the crosswalk forcing the pedestrian to stop mid-stream & jump back to the curb. The policeman watched both cars drive right through the crosswalk, endangering the woman’s life. Yet, even though the officer was in the fast lane and could have easily and safely made a U-turn to pull one or both drivers over, he did not.
After the woman made it safely across the street the traffic resumed, and the officer and I pulled up next to each other at the stoplight. I rolled my window down & asked him why he didn’t pull over either of those drivers as the pedestrian had the right of way. His response to me was: “I don’t like that crosswalk”. I’ve told them it’s not in a good place”. I said, “But isn’t it against the law to drive through the crosswalk when the pedestrian is already there?” He replied, “Yes.” I said, “Then you should have cited both of the drivers.” He answered with a nod yes of his head and drove away as the light turned green.
It is not a police officer’s job to choose which crosswalks he or she likes or doesn’t like when it comes to enforcing the law. It is his or her job to protect and serve. Because our police department may not protect us as pedestrians we must be ever more vigilant about walking around our town.

Researchers Conclude Wireless Radiation Causes Cancer After Latest Scientific Findings Announced
National advocacy group calls on major children’s health organizations to promote safe technology in schools with the “Turn It Off 4 Kids” Initiative

PRLog – Feb. 3, 2015 – The National Association for Children and Safe Technology (NACST) is taking action after two recently published studies indicate there is sufficient evidence demonstrating exposure to wireless radiation, also known as RF-EMF, causes cancer. Wireless routers and devices such as tablets, laptops, baby monitors and cell phones all emit this type of radiation.
NACST is calling on children’s health and cancer prevention organizations to make the issue of children’s health and exposure to wireless radiation in educational settings an immediate priority for 2015.
The State of the Science: The Debate is Over
Professor of Oncology Lennart Hardell, MD, PhD, and Statistician Michael Carlberg of Orebro University Hospital, Sweden found a 3-fold risk with 25 or more years of cell and cordless phone use in a study published October 2014 in Pathophysiology. Very significant was the finding that people who first used mobile or cordless phones before the age of 20 had the highest risk.
Increased wireless phone use also correlated with lower survival rates for people diagnosed with the most malignant gliomas in a second study published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health by the same researchers. Hardell and Carlberg stated, “Due to the relationship with survival, the classification is strengthened.”
These two studies followed the July 2014 Occupational and Environmental Medicine Journal publication of the CERENAT case controlled study where French researchers found almost a 3-fold increase in brain cancer with 896 or more hours of lifetime cell phone use.
Based on the accumulation of research demonstrating the health effects from wireless radiation, Professor Olle Johansson of the Karolinska Department of Neuroscience has stated, “the debate is over” on wireless.
“Given the established and emerging science, it only follows that students be provided a safe learning environment, free from wireless radiation,” stated an NACST spokesperson.
Scientists Call for the World Health Organization to Reclassify RF-EMF
In 2011, the WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified RF radiation as a Class 2B, “possible human carcinogen.”
NACST’s Turn It Off 4 Kids Initiative
In light of these recent scientific publications and expert warnings, NACST is reaching out to health organizations asking them to prioritize the issue of children’s health and wireless exposures in educational settings for 2015 in the following ways:
1. Call for all new school technology to be hardwired.
2. Call to replace existing wireless technology systems with hardwired systems.
3. Call for the implementation of primary prevention efforts such as educating the public about simple steps to reduce exposure, especially in regard to children and pregnant women.
4. Educate their organization’

NASCT’s Initiative has been endorsed by several prominent scientists, physicians and safety advocates including Drs. Lennart Hardell, Olle Johansson, Anthony Miller and Dariusz Leszczynski. Dr. Leszczynski was a participating scientist in the WHO IARC panel on RF-EMF and cancer, and Dr. Miller has served as Director of the Epidemiology Unit, National Cancer Institute of Canada, Toronto.
