The tragic suicide death of Corona Del Mar High School’s Patrick Turner

There is no doubt that today’s schools are hurting children but just how much? You may be surprised to learn how dangerous these schools have become. In some cases, these schools can kill. These schools are all over the place, perhaps one is in your neighborhood, perhaps your child may attend one of them. You need to get informed and get involved because the life you may save may be the one of your own child.

SO FOR 30 GRAND A MONTH, CAN THIS GUY PLEASE STOP THE DISTRICT WIDESPREAD PRACTICE OF “FENCING” STUDENTS AT HIS SCHOOLS AND THE BALOONS FULL OF URINE BEING THROWN INTO STUDENTS FACES BY OTHER STUDENTS AT CDM HS? HOW ABOUT THE BODY SLAMMING OF FRESHMEN INTO LOCKERS? HOW ABOUT FIRING SOME OF THESE TEACHERS THAT DO SQUAT ALL DAY, HUMILIATE STUDENTS AND OTHERS THAT WEAR SHORT SKIRTS AND SIT IN CLASS WITH THEIR LEGS ……………?

….for some, hell on earth, for others, they are “Just another brick in the wall..”

FORCED MICROWAVE EXPOSURE FROM INDUSTRIAL STREGNTH ACCESS POINTS AND DEVICES HAS A DISORGANIZING EFFECT ON THE BRAIN AND LEARNING

…….Behavior- This year we have a team of teachers being trained in the research-based Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) philosophy.  As a team we will be determining three key behaviors we want to foster in all CdM students throughout their six years at Corona del Mar Middle and High School. As of to date we are considering integrity, compassion and perseverance and discussing best practices to brand these three qualities as “Who We Are At CdM.”

Is it possible that the these teachers possibly pushed this student over the edge? The suicide letters clearly indicate this. Let’s listen to another CDM HS student. Read this information supplied by a current Corona Del Mar High School student which flies in the face of the statement the principal puts out. This is very important.

As someone who goes to CDM, I can attest that the teaching staff is beyond horrible.

The only reason CDM is rated so high is due to the wealthy parents being able to pay for tutors and SAT/ACT test prep. I previously went to a school in Costa Mesa from 7th grade to 9th grade, and the quality of teachers there was insanely better than at CDM even though the Costa Mesa school was ranked much lower than CDM.

Even though CDM teachers rarely teach anything, they grade incredibly hard due to knowing most of their students work with their tutors 5 days a week. I recall being told by my counselor that a B at CDM, is worth an A at any other high school to colleges, and I just remember thinking how stressful it is for these teachers to be grading super strict when they aren’t even teaching anything.

The clash between the high expectations of the Newport Community and the horrible teachers at CDM is what really makes CDM unique in how stressful it really is.

Just look at the rating for the teacher who openly called Patrick worthless infront of the class a couple days before he died. https://www.ratemyteachers.com/gretchen-reynoso/2483”   “

RIP Patrick. Your sufferings are over now. As a mother of three young children, I am heartbroken and in tears over this story. It is simply not worth it to push these children over the edge like this. I agree with the man in the video. The jobs are just not there. I know because I work for the EDD.

  2. #2 by Ronnie on February 6, 2018 - 8:27 am

Completely and utterly heartbreaking. I heart goes out to the parents as they live now live with grief for the rest of their lives. I know this pain. He pushed so hard he didn’t see a way out. May God keep his soul. I hope that the administration wakes up and makes necessary changes before we lose anymore children. My prayers to the family.

Thank you Joe for bringing awareness of what is happening in society today. It seems as if evil has taken over the hearts of many people.

  3. #3 by Katy on February 6, 2018 - 9:41 am

The family has asked for privacy and the notes to not be shared at this time. Regardless of what you think (the notes should be public to help others) you should honor their wishes out of respect & remove the letters.

  4. #4 by Noreen on February 6, 2018 - 10:13 am

Those letters were written by a boy who was bright and loving, and a boy who was lost in a system that was neither. I hold the principal responsible for not controlling the wicked tongue of her staff. Sue the teacher and the principal personally and take everything they have.

Mr. Imbriano, you are a man of courage and wisdom. May God bless you for your work and may others learn the truth about what is being done to children. This is all so evil and unnecessary.

  5. #5 by Barry Levinson on February 6, 2018 - 1:38 pm

How incredibly sad that a 16 year-old boy living in an upscale community believed his only choice was suicide.

How incredibly deficient is a Principal who does not address the issue of a teacher who appears to be abusive to some of her students according to the above student reviews.

If this teacher as claimed called this student worthless and in front of all his classmates, she deserves to be both fired from her job and sued by the family of this boy.

In addition, if it is shown that the principal ignored all the warning signs such as all the very negative student reviews then this principal need to be shown the door as well.

  6. #6 by Anonymous on February 6, 2018 - 8:14 pm

That video is really out there. Do any of you actually believe what he is saying could be true?

this is such a tragedy – my daughter went to CDM for 2 weeks – their practices of “body slamming: the freshmans into the lockers – even the girls. I went to back to school night and saw who was teaching my child and thought NO WAY. Its embarrassing that in such an affluent area this is our choice – the entire newport mesa school district is a joke. my youngest daughter has to attend a 45K a year school because of the damage from Newport Elementary. Do you know that they “fence” kids for not having their assignments done? i hope all the parents paying a ton of money sending their preschoolers here know that in a few years they may be standing against a fence! I tried to sue but you cant sue the government – its just an awful situation.
I am so sad to read this lovely boys letters – and sadly i am not surprised – this is the Newport Mesa School district. As a parent to parent suggestion – don’t believe because you live in a nice neighborhood that the school is good – we have one of the worst systems around.

God Bless you Pat – i am sorry you had to be a victim to this awful system.

That teacher should be fired at the very least. Do these people have no conscience? How could they do this to him?

  9. #9 by Anonymous on February 7, 2018 - 9:01 am

Teachers that have tenure are almost impossible to terminate. The union has created a system whereby they are almost untouchable.

  10. #10 by A mother with compassion on February 8, 2018 - 7:36 am

The pressure today for students is ridiculous. Social media is causing more pressure. This teacher should be fired and never allowed to teach again.

This boy was amazing and could have grown to be an adult that made a difference in this world. As a young man, hopefully his message to all of us will make a difference.

To type letters with all the thought he put into them took more courage, will, and determination than most adults in this world can muster. Please love your kids, hug them a little longer, give them a “break” to not do it all. Tell them it’s okay to be just who they are. Life is too precious and this family doesn’t deserve the suffering they will go through because of some stupid “worthless” teacher and school.

I believe that the reviews on rate my teacher state are true and from my understanding of the site’s rating of teachers that I personally know, I find the ratings to be candid and objective. My personal knowledge of teachers and the ratings I have read on them for the most part ring true. This teacher, while not the sole reason for this student taking his life, was, I believe the person who put this young man over the edge.

Years ago, a student at San Pedro high school was told by his teacher that “you may pass this class but you will never pass this life”…. Five days later, he killed himself.

Some of the most lazy, arrogant, dishonest and immoral people I know are public school administrators and teachers. They get this way because they think they can’t get fired so they mess with children, ripp off the taxpayers, verbally and emotinally abuse children, and the worst thing of all, they ALL, every single one WITH NO EXCEPTIONS, goes along with the evil agendas of these metal walled, government mind control facilities that are force feeding godless common core curriculum, atheism, moral relativism, secular humanism, forced wireless microwave radiation exposure trillions of times the levels we were exposed to as children, sexual perversion, scientism, forced vaccinations and globalist indocrination on young, impressionable minds and bodies because they have sold their souls in exchange for their personal comfort.

From what I have read, this poor kid was emotionally abused by his language teacher, Gretchen Reynoso. Email her to let her know how you feel: greynoso@nmusd.us
She called him “worthless” in front of the entire class a couple days before his death.

If you hate kids, you shouldn’t teach.

  12. #13 by helen liu on February 8, 2018 - 7:50 pm

The evil language teacher should go to hell, should go die! Children is our future. There is nothing worse than parents seeing their child end his/her life.

RIP, Patrick! Heaven has NO pressure! RIP!

  13. #14 by C. Hoffman on February 8, 2018 - 11:32 pm

Three of my female relatives were freemasonic Eastern Stars who taught elementary children. These women were specifically placed in schools to damage young minds in any way possible. When I think of what they did to their students and that they got away with it, it makes me sad. Please know that the sick behaviors of most teachers today is intentional. Do the research on who are the Freemasons and who they worship, you’ll find the answers most alarming. -C. Hoffman

the teacher’s sons name is Mason…pretty telling isnt it

  14. #16 by Anonymous on February 9, 2018 - 12:08 am

When my brother graduated from this high school in 2005, there was another student that had committed suicide. (They had a different principal at that time.)

  15. #18 by Anonymous on February 9, 2018 - 11:15 am

There have been several suicides connected to attendance at CDM. There have also been many attempts as well. Something is amiss there for sure.

  16. #19 by Herminia on February 9, 2018 - 12:02 pm

My daughter works in the district. She won’t even talk to me about any of this! I did not raise my children to take part in or defend such childa abuse. I cannot believe children won’t speak up against this? It is time to go to the school board and demand action!

  17. #20 by Anonymous on February 10, 2018 - 7:09 am

This just hurts my heart. Teachers have such an impact on our young people. It’s absolutely disgusting that any teacher could continue to berate and emotionally abuse any of our children and not be held accountable. Unforgivable.

  18. #21 by Barry Levinson on February 10, 2018 - 10:33 am

Anonymous what you describe is just another consequence of big out of control government.

  19. #22 by Anonymous on February 10, 2018 - 12:41 pm

That stupid teacher needs to be fired. I hate to break it teachers and school admin, but getting over a 4.0 in high school does fucking nothing to prepare you for the real world. It’s just a stupid letter! Wake up school! It’s people like you that make kids and teens see mental health professionals.

  20. #23 by Anonymous on February 10, 2018 - 1:37 pm

My heart breaks for this young boy. They need to fire this teacher and the entire school administration. They are lucky they haven’t been sued yet! News flash to the school: high school grades don’t prepare you for really life idiots! It’s just grades. My husband didn’t even go to college and makes 6 figures! Change your standards! Don’t make school such a drag and stressful for kids. Learning should be fun!

  21. #24 by Olive Merems on February 10, 2018 - 9:46 pm

    Dear Turner Family:
How disgusting!!! This precious life, ended much, much, much
too soon. What horrific torment endured by your beloved
Patrick. Perhaps, an independent investigation MUST
be launched to uncover the abuse, harassment, humiliation,
embarassment and SUB HUMAN treatment perpetrated by a
school teacher against Patrick and other students, for certain.
Praying for your peace and MAKE CHANGES echoed by Patrick
SHALL NOT BE IN VAIN. IIn His LOVE, Olive & Norm Merems

  22. #25 by Lorna on February 11, 2018 - 11:35 am

There must have been warning signs. It just breaks my heart to see such tragedy unfold in my community. Someone had to have sensed something was amiss with this young man? How could this have happened?

Heard he was on meds, anyone know which ones?

  27. #30 by Anonymous on February 12, 2018 - 9:39 pm

One life lost is one too many. So many young people today don’t realize that High School has very little significance once it is over. Sadly, he was never explained that.

  28. #31 by Anonymous on February 12, 2018 - 10:11 pm

Imbriano’s brutally honest and covers all the factors invloved in this meltdown of our young people today, including the kids parents. Read the kid’s notes and you tell me how many more time bombs are ticking in these “mind control prisons” as Imbriano calls them. People that work in the school system are collectively responsible for decimating the thinking and social skills of an entire generation. They have blood on their hands, and in this case, the language teacher has it all over.

How many children have to die!!!???
