Fullerton’s Downtown Core Corridor: A Toxic sinking ship, the condemnation of our groundwater and the massive power grab by Joe Felz

Either Fullerton’s DCCP is doomed or all of us are. Look at these maps folks. They are proposing to build massive high rise construction RIGHT SMACK DAB ON TOP OF A POTENTIAL SUPERFUND SITE. These images tell the whole story.

Joe Felz tried to ram this massive power grab and development fast track through when no one was looking on a mid summer’s night. They held the Fullerton City Council meeting in the library room instead of The council chambers and tried to pass it at 11 o’clock on a Tuesday night with no live feed to the local cable access channels and no live feed to the city’s online coverage of the meeting.

So why would any sane rational elected representative bury this ticking toxic time bomb in our aquifer under 10 story high rises from here to kingdom come? Do we have any to speak of?  I believe the current council majority comprised of Jan Flory, jennifer Fitzgerald and Doug Chaffee will do anything to generate revenues designed to float the sinking pension ship and to keep the public employee gravy train rolling down the tracks. That is why they were installed by the unions on the Council. Big development brings in big money for the city. Look folks the two year budget they keep passing will come to haunt all of us when the city finally will have to show all the unfunded pension liabilities on their books next year as a result of a new State law. You know what that means? Well for starters, it could spell the beginning of the end of the City of Fullerton’s solvency. So in the meantime, Jan Flory, Jennifer Fitzgerald, and Doug Chaffee will have to act fast and ram this through before the next election so they can account for the windfall ledger entries of future revenue that this treasonous disaster could bring to the city’s drained coffers.

You heard me. They will bury alive your aquifer that desperately needs remediation under a million tons of concrete and steel while they kill what is left of this town with a massive high density housing extravaganza, traffic busting and chocking up our already ruined roads, and a business killing zoning change party just so their friends at city hall can keep burning tri tip boozing it up in their backyards while you are all at work paying for their bacon and wine tasting trips to Europe.

With all the aforementioned aside, this is a massive illegal power grab, as pointed out by Mr. Barry Levinson right here:   https://thefullertoninformer.com/who-is-behind-this-massive-grab-of-money-and-power-known-as-the-downtown-core-and-corridor-specific-plan-dccsp-city-manager-joe-felz/

https://thefullertoninformer.com/how-awful-and-corrupt-is-the-fullerton-downtown-core-and-corridor-special-project-please-let-me-count-the-ways-as-follows-by-barry-levinson/

All normal case by case project specific checks and balances, public input and commission review which have been a bulwark against out of control development will be done away with, and placed in the fast track lane all at the mercy of and in the hands of an unelected bureaucrat named Joe Felz -Fullerton’s city manager. Yes the end of piecemeal planning and the beginning of the Agenda 21 nightmare for Fullerton.

As a resident and a taxpayer, I am requesting that all of the planning commissioners that approved this be removed from their positions, and that this item tabled indefinitely or shredded until the EPA has cleared our aquifer.  There is absolutely no reason to ram this through right now. This is a one stop shop, one E.I.R., council bypass that, in my opinion, is too huge to be handed off to unelected city staff through the hands of the five on the council. Going forward, there is no objective, honest way that you can conclude that green lighting such a massive project is in the best interests of the residents of this city, especially when hardly anyone knows about it. The insidious irony of projects of this magnitude and nature is that the scope of the public reporting requirements decreases inversely proportionate to the size of the development. Placing this on the ballot remedies that injustice to the residents.

This is leaps and bounds above and beyond the scope and magnitude of what is warranted at this time. It is an immense concession of checks and balances in the City’s long standing traditional approach to planning. Fast tracking makes sense in times of fiscal or other emergencies. The occupany rates of Fullerton housing is no where near 100 percent at this time.

This thing is a total Agenda 21 developer and variance orgy clothed in an affordable housing garb. Send the money back to the state and get Felz to disband the redevelopment has been dream team and you will have doubled your money in 12 months.

In addition, almost none of the claims that this thing makes are even remotely possible to accomplish. Mitigating traffic with a few more trash cans is an insult. I have not even mentioned that there are several legal challenges that will be brought forth if this item is moved forward as it is written.

Put the brakes on this thing and do the right thing. Let’s look at this through the eyes of your constituents by placing it in the shredder where it belongs. No one lives more than three days without water. Don’t build 10 story WiFi prison mausoleums on top of our aquifer just so a few hundred people that work for the city can maintain their standard of living at the expense of the other 150,000 who live in the real world. I will remind you that everyone is expendable, even city employees and even rocket fuel contaminated water seeks its own level as you will all find out with November 2016 being right around the corner.

The Coyote Hills Parcel Tax

You don’t actually think the City of Fullerton is going to buy you a park with all the money they have sucked out of all of you through decades of taxative extortion do you? 12004709_10207745040414113_9180720121378584771_n

Just in time for the “H.E.R.O.” program to rear its ugly head on the agenda where the 4F mafia, Jan Fluoride, Jencurt Fitzpringle, and Doug Chaffeeppoo will be voting for thereby setting up the framework for a “Citywide special assessment district” to help bolster the endless, out of control public employee union pay raises and float the sinking pension ship under the guise of “smart” energy programs and red tape ribbon cutting.

Yes folks, introducing the latest and greatest idea since the FPD handed out the blue shirts and set up the taco truck on Tuesday night at city hall. Introducing the new “parcel tax” to pay off Chevron as they ride up the value on their sand dune wasteland called Coyote Hills. Yes it, to this day, remains an unremediated, unbuildable, unstable, seisimic nightmare riddled with hidden improperly capped oil and gas wells with toxic soil abounding flanked by fire ants, rats and rattlesnakes smack dab on top of a fault line without a drop of water anywhere to be found.

You already gave at the office you say? Haven’t had enough of OC vector control, OC Dept of sanitation, FSD, NOCCD, MWD, or FJUHSD’s catheter into your wallet through their property tax levy party?  Get ready for another mainline insertion of another line item without a veto.

You guessed, you, the residents will be picking up the tab. Of course the city doesn’t have the money to buy the land. Hell they don’t even have the money to fix a stinking drinking fountain that has been broken for 2 and 1/2 years over at the ball field at Chapman park.

Yes the 4f council mafia hands out raises and benies and lawsuit settlements in the back room up behind the dais every 1st and 3rd Tuesday afternoon like lolipops on halloween to the unions and the rape victims while you, the taxpayer, are still stuck in traffic. They just don’t have enough left over for the more important things like what they actually exist to procure and maintain, that is crucial infrastructure.

No instead, they ignore the mosquito infested storm drain system, the 300 million in road, sewer and water main repairs while they try to ram through the job killing ten story tilt up nightmare called the DCCP and the WiFi prison called the College Town nuthouse over on Nutwood  to boost revenues just enough to keep the unfunded pension liabilities from affecting Foolerton’s credit rating while you all stay mesmerized by a parade, and a fireworks show.

You want a walk in the park, well, haha, its gonna cost you gang. Chevron will get their money the old fashioned way and you will hand yours over the oldest way in the book: at levy point.

Yes Coyote Hills is beautiful and yes because it is not safe for any sort of development whatsoever in its present form, it should remain as open space. Remember, parks don’t make any money for the city unless they pack them full of cell towers. Development does and as long as we have a Flory, Fitzgerald and Chaffee council majority that exists to protect and serve the 700 city employees and not the 140,000 residents, we will have the devil in the details shoved up our backsides till the cows come home folks. More to come on this gang, so stay tuned.

For the first time in ORANGE COUNTY’S 100 PLUS YEAR HISTORY, VECTOR CONTROL plans to spray 53,000 acres of Orange County with poison from the sky

For the first time in ORANGE COUNTY’S 100 PLUS YEAR HISTORY, VECTOR CONTROL plans to spray 53,000 acres of Orange County with a pesticide called “Duet dual action adulticide” and they are doing it WITHOUT mass mailing, WITHOUT your permission, WITHOUT your knowledge and WITHOUT your input.

FOLKS, NO ONE HAS DIED FROM WEST NILE IN THE OC IN 2015

WHY RUSH THIS THROUGH NOW SECRETLY WITH NO WARNING? WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?

THIS IS A HUGE PRECEDENT BEING SET HERE.

REMEMBER BACK IN 1989 WHEN THE MORONS AT THE STATE LEVEL SPRAYED TOXIC MALATHION ALL OVER THE PLACE AND THEY TOLD US THAT WAS SAFE? MALATHION IS NOW BANNED BECAUSE IT CAUSES  CANCER.  Read the rest of this entry »

Jennifer Fitzgerald- “I move the item”-ANOTHER CELL TOWER NEXT TO A SCHOOL

Folks for the second time in a row, Fullerton City Councilwoman Jennifer Fitzgerald, stepped right up and rammed another dangerous cell tower through the Fullerton city council-this one right next to Parks Junior High School that will penetrate the classrooms and expose all students to microwave RF emissions in addition the the staggering levels already present as a result of FSD’s Robert Pletka’s reckless use of wireless technology in all of its classrooms.

This woman just couldn’t wait to monetize another park and dose the poor kids and neighbors.

POLITICAL MACHINATIONS STARTING EARLY IN THE CITY OF FULLERTON-by Barry Levinson

POLITICAL MACHINATIONS STARTING EARLY IN THE CITY OF FULLERTON

Barry Levinson

BARRY LEVINSON

It is more than 15 months until the November 2016 elections, yet it is clear that the political establishment is already making its move to make sure that those that play ball get on the political team.

No one who has run for city council in Fullerton has been and will continue to be more outspoken on all the issues that will impact the citizens of Fullerton than myself. I do not need to talk with political advisors or worry whether a particular position will do me more political good than harm. I could care less, because to much is at stake and it starts at the grass roots level in local towns and cities like my city of Fullerton.  Read the rest of this entry »

Some Straight Talk About Our Current Situation and How it Relates to Our 4th of July Celebrations. by Barry Levinson

The City of Fullerton Celebrates the 4th of July in Grand Style.

Barry Levinson

Yesterday my family attended the City of Fullerton’s celebration of the 4th of July with games for the kids and food and music for all to enjoy. As always the fireworks show accompanied by music was a roaring success.

The Park and Recreation Department takes the lead in ensuring a great event and congratulations should be given to all those Park and Recreation employees who worked hard both prior to and at the celebration. Also I would like to thank Hugo Curiel, the Director of the Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department for a job well done.  Read the rest of this entry »

Young Kim claims that, after a lot of thoughtful consideration, she rises to support SB 277.

Ms. Kim, your consideration is not what matters. What matters are  the rights of your constituents and your duty is to uphold the Constitution and to protect the welfare of everyone.  SB 277 and vaccines do no such thing.

Shame on Cal State Fullerton’s Dr. Mark H. Shapiro for talking out his pie hole on wireless-part 2

Hey doc-I handed you a paper on a silver platter that showed rats that had their ovaries exposed for 15 minutes a day for 15 days with pulsed microwave RF exposure that ended up having their ovarian reserves looking like Folsom lake after they drained it for the geo engineered drought photo op. You sent me that publication that showed all kinds of apples and orange comparisons with frequencies and and effects everywhere except where I asked you to look-ovarian reserves and the effects on the female ovum.
The report only had 2 out of 75+ studies that dealt with FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEMS AND THEY BOTH SHOWED EFFECTS. I handed you the plans from Apple that just so happen to have exact replicas of the female reproductive components and fertilized eggs getting electrocuted in their landscape architecture plans who also just so happen to have the exclusive contracts in all the schools.
Look, I am not asking for much from a big shot like you. I just want you to use your noggin for a minute. You think that putting 15,000 iPads in the laps of students in the Fullerton School District when no one can show me one study on the effects at 2.4 GHz on the eggs?
Why is it that according to what you provided me with, in response to what I provided you with, the study admits that research of the female reproductive system is “SCARCE”. Hey professor emeritus, doesn’t that translate to the fact that we need to do more studies before we deploy this crap or does this translate to how an agenda is allowed to proceed under our noses, even the so called smart people like yourself?
How the heck did Dr. Pletka manage to get 15,000 iPads that emit a class 2B carcinogen into the laps of all the boys and girls in the classrooms when NO ONE EVER BOTHERED TO SEE WHAT THE HELL THIS CRAP DOES TO THE GIRLS EGGS OR FOLLICLES while these things will spend years in their laps. THIS IS ALL THE WHILE THAT APPLE SPENDS 5 BILLION DOLLARS ON THEIR HEADQUARTERS WITH LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE PLANS THAT LAY IT ALL OUT LIKE SOME SICK JOKE. What kind of demonic scientific fraud is everyone taking part in? Ok, yeah and you worked for decades as a professor at CSF and you also claim you don’t know anyone over at the school district.  I guess you need to work on your social skills as well as your research skills.
I asked point blank questions and you come back with spin, deflections, mixing up sunlight with microwaves, 60 Hz electricity, power lines, light bulb emissions and sun tans. We are talking about the exact frequency at which the maximum dielectric loss of water begins at power levels trillions of times background levels with slot antenna deployment at point blank range, in direct contact with the sensitive developing reproductive organs of young children for hours on end every day for 15 years for 15,000 children in Fullerton and tens of millions of children nationwide. What kind of scientist are you Shapiro? Are you going to tell everyone that the iPad programs in the schools are totally safe for the children like Dr Pletka said? Or are you going to step back and be honest, and say maybe this isn’t such a good idea and help us rescue these children from these reckless school administrators, brain dead chicken shit board members and scared, ignorant, cowardly, vain, immature parents who are frozen in their tracks. Come on doc.

And the same article where they took a swipe at the unnamed person who has been bringing this to the FSD’s attention for some time now.

Mr. Imbriano I have sent you a private message concerning your personal attacks on me. Please read it.
  • Mark H. Shapiro · 4 mutual friends

Mr. Imbriano your comments about me are false, defamatory, and potentially libelous. While you certainly have the right to disagree with my scientific conclusions and opinions, that does not give you the right to make false accusations about my qualifications and experience as a scientist, to infer that they were motivated by anything other than a desire to inform the public about the issue under discussion, nor to infer that I am somehow a spokesperson for the Fullerton School District or any other public body or agency. Please remove the comments from your facebook page and yourfullertoninformer.com website that are just scurrilous personal attacks.
    • Diane King Dr. Shapiro, Please consider rewriting your “opinion” piece, deferring to the findings and knowledge of 200 scientists that are experts in EMF research and health. They have characterized the proliferation of unnatural EMF as a public health crisis. This was not done lightly. THEY KNOW. Please rewrite your letter and yield to the message of these experts. Your position, as it stands, is indefensible.
    • Mark H. Shapiro · Friends with Neal Kelley and 3 others

Ms. King there are competent scientists on both sides of this issue, but in my professional judgement those who signed the letter to WHO misunderstand the actual risk presented by smart meters and wi-fi transmitters mainly because they don’t correctly understand the physics of electromagnetic radiation. The most extensive study of the effects of electromagnetic radiation emitted by cell phones and other devices that emit electromagnetic radiation was carried out in the UK over a period of more than a decade, involved hundreds of scientists from several countries who are experts in the field, using careful double blind studies where possible and case-matched epidemiological studies. Scores of papers from this effort have been published in refereed scientific journals. The bottom line from all this work is that no credible definitive evidence of deleterious health effects were observed at the dose levels encountered while using cell phones or other devices including trunked radio transceivers that emit significantly more EMR in this frequency range than cell phones. There were some hints in the data that very heavy cell phone usage might produce slight increases in the rate of certain types of rare brain cancers, though the evidence was at best equivocal. This is why I reached the conclusions I did. The most interesting result from this study in my view came from the double-blind study on people who have complained about “electrosensitive” effects from the use of cell phones or trunked-radio transceivers. When these people were tested against a control group of people who claimed no such sensitivity in totally shielded enclosures with a transmitter that was randomly turned on an off without the knowledge of the participants. There was no statistically significant effect observed. In other words, people who claimed to be electrosensitive reported “effects” at no higher rate when the transmitter was on than when it was off. And in tests when people were asked to determine when the transmitter was on or off depending on how they felt, “electrosensitive” people were no better at identifying when the transmitter was on or off than the control group. Please read the reports from all these studies yourself, and compare them with some of the much less well-controlled studies that report positive effects. As I noted in the article that was printed in the Observer, I think that one should err on the side of caution with regard to very heavy use of a cellphone held to one’s ear given the hint of a positive effect in this study and one other one that I quoted that involve results from a population of radio amateurs (as a radio amateur myself for more than 60 years I have followed this issue carefully since we typically are exposed to much higher levels of electromagnetic radiation than the general public.) I stand by my original conclusions The references for the UK study can be found at: http://www.mthr.org.uk/
    • Penelope Landis Mr. Shapiro, how can you say there is “no Credible evidence?” what do you call this? Effects Of 2.4 Ghz Radiofrequency Radiation Emitted From Wi-Fi Equipment On microRna Expression In Brain Tissue
      Int J Radiat Biol. 2015 Mar 16:1-26.
      http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25775055?dopt=Abstract
    • Penelope Landis Mr. Shapiro, you realized that this radiation damages brains and we are talking about children. Please see this research on low level radiation.https://docs.google.com/…/1xACAlbFUSEwJIF555wlGbMR…/edit
    • Penelope Landis Mr. Shapiro, the research that you quote is incomplete and I do not see you citing current science nor the wealth of science that exists.http://www.sciencedirect.com/…/pii/S0006291X15003988
    • Veronica Zrnchik Also, there are many shortcomings to these “detector” studies. They do not take into account that what a person is sensitive to is very different. People are sensitive to all different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. To test everyone with one type of signal is surely going to fail as it may very well be a signal to which they have no sensitivity. In addition Mr Shapiro, they did not take into account the different symptoms and delayed responses to the exposures. Some people get symptoms hours later. Some are affected right way and some have both. Some of those devices were still emiting signals in “sham” mode. The testing with one signal is like testing for food allergies. You would not test for food allergies using only one food. Obviously you would miss lots of allergies that way–would you not. Also, it sounds like you know alot about physics etc. So you might be aware of the fact that there are specific windows of effect for many frequencies in regards to biological effects. There is NOT a linear effect. It is nonlinear. A higher frequency or intensity does not always increase the symptoms. In fact, in some cases, there is no effect from increasing exposures and there is a decrease in effect. Was that taken into account? I’m not sure it was. So those experiements wheer they determine if people are dectors or not were not very scientific AND not being a detector does not eliminate the possibility that you are affected by something. If someone went to a picnic and got an upset stomach from a food–would the fact that he/she could not identify the exact food that made them ill negate the fact that they were ill?? It is a silly test really. And finally, have you seen the studies that document only biological effects and is double blind. Clearly the body has biological reactions in heart rate, blood preasure, blood clumping, iris dialiation etc. These were done with animals and people. Clearly animals cannot be experiencing the nocebo effect from reading about the study in the newspaper!! Those exposure tests or studies are ignorant and just an additiional way to obfuscate the truth by delaying the publics understanding and acceptance of this condition.
    • Joe Imbriano

      Write a reply…

  • Diane King Mr. Shapiro, Enough is KNOWN of the biological effects of EMF to remove this from our children’s classrooms. Let it be known that your stance flies in the face of the increasing population that is getting sick (ES) from these exposures, people dying prematurely from RF radiation. How many dead bodies is enough? To proceed ahead, as you are doing, is indicative of a lack of humanity. To proceed ahead in attempting to influence/inform others against thousands of studies that attest to the health harms is unforgivable. As stated previously, your position is indefensible and this is especially true in this context where it involves our children. Only you know your motivation for doing so.
  • Diane King Mr. Shapiro, There may very well be competent scientists on both sides but being competent does not bring with it integrity, honesty, ethics or morality. Enough of the science has been been hijacked/bought off by the industry and continually paraded around, denying the health effects. If you had done your research on this aspect of the ‘science’ you would have an understanding of that. If you did not, you surely would have remembered our history in which it took decades to determine that smoking caused cancer. Smoking didn’t cause cancer until it did. Why did it take decades? Corruption and yielding to industry over the lives and health of the populace. There are no ethics or morality in that. From all appearances, Mr. Shapiro, you are part of this.

FULLERTON BUDGET VOTE Or why can’t we get a majority of our council to be concerned with our budget deficits?

FULLERTON BUDGET VOTE

Or why can’t we get a majority of our council to be concerned with our budget deficits? by Barry Levinson

Barry Levinson

Barry Levinson

On Tuesday, the 9th of June, the city council split their votes 2 for and 2 against the 2015-2016 and the 2016-2017 budgets that had projected million dollar plus deficits for at least the next two years. Fitzgerald and Flory voted for the budget and Whitaker and Sebourn voted against approving the budget as presented by the city. Council member Chaffee was absent, which created an even number of council members to be present and thus resulted in the budget vote going down to defeat. It will be revisited in the upcoming council meeting on Tuesday June 16th.  Read the rest of this entry »

FULLERTON CITY COUNCIL HAS TEMPORARILY POSTPONED DECISION ON SHUTTING DOWN LAGUNA LAKE UNTIL TUESDAY JUNE 2 COUNCIL MEETING AT 6:30 PM.

URGENT notice by Barry Levinson!

images (18)

FULLERTON CITY COUNCIL HAS TEMPORARILY POSTPONED DECISION ON SHUTTING DOWN LAGUNA LAKE UNTIL TUESDAY JUNE 2 COUNCIL MEETING AT 6:30 PM.

PLEASE MAKE PLANS TO ATTEND THIS MEETING AND BRING AS MANY NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS AS POSSIBLE.

WITHOUT A TERRIFIC TURNOUT, I BELIEVE THE CITY WILL SHUT DOWN LAGUNA LAKE AT THE SAME TIME HOPING TO BUILD DOZENS OF 7 – 8 STORY BUILDINGS THROUGHOUT FULLERTON BY PASSING THE DOWNTOWN CORE AND CORRIDOR SPECIFIC PROJECT IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE MAIN BENEFIT OF THOSE HIGH DENSITY BUILDINGS WOULD BE TO INCREASE THE TAX BASE SO THAT THE CITY CAN CONTINUE TO KEEP FUNDING THEIR SALARIES AND EXORBITANT PENSIONS. IT CERTAINLY WOULD ALSO BE A FINANCIAL BOON FOR DEVELOPERS AND THEIR HIRED CONSULTANTS JUST LIKE THE ONE OUR OWN CITY COUNCIL MEMBER JENNIFER FITZGERALD REPRESENTS AS A VICE PRESIDENT.

QUESTION TO FULLERTON CITIZENS? DON’T YOU THINK THAT THIS MIGHT BE A CONFLICT OF INTERSET FOR MS. FITZGERALD?

QUESTION? IS IT FAIR TO ASK FULLERTON HOMEOWNERS TO REDUCE THEIR OUTDOOR WATER CONSUMPTION BY 50% AS STATED BY OUR WATER DEPARTMENT MANAGER WHILE THE CITY HOPES TO ADD THOUSANDS OF NEW HOUSING UNITS IN THE NEAR FUTURE WHICH WILL INCREASE THE DEMAND FOR OUR WATER?

DEMAND THEY KEEP LAGUNA LAKE OPEN AND DEMAND A MORATORIUM ON FUTURE NEW MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! FOR ONCE MAKE OUR CITY GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABLE TO THE PEOPLE. LET OUR COUNCIL AND CITY MANAGER JOE FELZ KNOW WHAT WE THINK OF THEIR HORRIBLE PLANS TO RUIN OUR CITY AND DEGRADE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ITS CITIZENS GOING FORWARD!

SEE YOU AT FULLERTON CITY HALL COUNCIL MEETING ON

TUESDAY JUNE 2 AT 6:30 PM.

P.S. Earlier today I commented under Mayor Greg Sebourn’s Facebook page post about the recent lighting ceremony for the historic Fox Theatre. I stated that it was indeed a great day to celebrate our saving of the Fox Theatre and a new milestone in its eventual reopening. After all I am Charter Supporter of the Fox Theatre Remodel.

I then stated that I would hope that all of Mayor Sebourn’s supporters would also get behind the saving of an even older landmark in our city, namely Laguna Lake. I then asked them to come to the next council meeting to show support for keeping Laguna Lake open.

Not five minutes went by when my Facebook Friend relationship with Mayor Sebourn was apparently revoked. Did my free speech concerning Laguna Lake offend the Mayor? Does the Mayor not believe I have a right to express my opinion as it relates to another landmark in our city?

I REPORT, YOU DECIDE!

109 Scientists Call for EMF Protection Against Long-term Health Effects of WiFi
