Re:  Harvard graduates, affiliates work and statements on wireless radiation health effects and FCC corruption

Good day PTSA members and staff.

It has come to my attention that in my previous email regarding the work of Harvard graduates and Harvard fellows, one of the links was in pdf format and, perhaps, not accessible.  To rectify that I am sending you, again, the work of Harvard Fellow, Norm Alster.  That link is below.

Additionally, I have come across two more Harvard educated sources,  Ron Powell, Ph.D., and Dr.  David Carpenter, which I think should interest you.  Dr.  Powell is a “retired U.S. Government scientist (Ph.D., Applied Physics, Harvard University, 1975).”  During his career he worked for the Executive Office of the President, the National Science Foundation, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.  Dr.  Carpenter serves as director of the Institute for Health and the Environment, a Collaborating Center of the World Health Organization, as well as a professor of environmental health sciences at UAlbany’s School of Public Health.

It is duly noted that PTSA Volunteer Coordinator Kimberly Blanks is not “interested” in receiving information pertinent to the health and wellbeing of Troy students and teachers, as she has requested that I “refrain from sending any more of this information” to her.  As well, PTSA member Cecile Guerra has also requested that she be removed from the distribution list.  It is not clear to me that they understand that Troy PTSA, of which they are members, has worked to fund wireless Chromebooks which emit radiation and are a health hazard for all of our children.  If they have no interest, then it naturally begs the question:  what are they doing volunteering with the Troy PTSA, which is dedicated to the education of our children?  Nevertheless, I will no longer email them.

Alster, Norm. Captured agency: How the Federal Communications Commission is dominated by the industries it presumably regulates. Cambridge, MA:  Edmund J. Safra Center for Ethics, Harvard University.  2015.

An Expose of the FCC:  An Agency Captured by the Industries it Regulates

“A detailed look at FCC actions—and non-actions—shows that over the years the FCC has granted the wireless industry pretty much what it has wanted.

Money—and lots of it—has played a part … In all, CTIA, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile USA, and Sprint spent roughly $45 million lobbying in 2013. Overall, the Communications/Electronics sector is one of Washington‘s super heavyweight lobbyists, spending nearly $800 million in 2013-2014, according to CRP data.

As a result, consumer safety, health, and privacy, along with consumer wallets, have all been overlooked, sacrificed, or raided due to unchecked industry influence …. Most insidious of all, the wireless industry has been allowed to grow unchecked and virtually unregulated, with fundamental questions on public health impact routinely ignored. Industry control, in the case of wireless health issues, extends beyond Congress and regulators to basic scientific research. And in an obvious echo of the hardball tactics of the tobacco industry, the wireless industry has backed up its economic and political power by stonewalling on public relations and bullying potential threats into submission with its huge standing army of lawyers. In this way, a coddled wireless industry intimidated and silenced the City of San Francisco, while running roughshod over local opponents of its expansionary infrastructure.

… Currently presiding over the FCC is Tom Wheeler, a man who has led the two most powerful industry lobbying groups: CTIA and NCTA. It is Wheeler who once supervised a $25 million industry-funded research effort on wireless health effects. But when handpicked research leader George Carlo concluded that wireless radiation did raise the risk of brain tumors, Wheeler‘s CTIA allegedly rushed to muffle the message. ”You do the science. I‘ll take care of the politics,” Carlo recalls Wheeler saying.”

Messages to Schools and Colleges about Wireless Devices and Health

“So many serious biological effects have been found that immediate responsive action is warranted. Further, these biological effects are occurring at levels of radiation far lower than earlier understood. Simply stated, a worldwide health crisis is emerging and is becoming a hallmark of the 21st Century. The international biomedical research community is trying to warn us; but we, in the USA, are not yet listening.”

This letter is one of the many communiqués from Dr.  Powell.

Dr.  David Carpenter talks about wireless cancer risks and what you can do to protect your family

Regarding wifi in schools, “everyone will be adversely affected.”

Source:  http://emfsafetynetwork.org/dr-david-carpenter-talks-about-wireless-cancer-risks-and-what-you-can-do-to-protect-your-family/

This is one example of Dr.  Carpenter’s message regarding wireless radiation health hazards.

The work of fellow Harvard fellows and professors should be of great interest, as Troy PTSA is working to bring wireless radiation into our children’s school environment, clearly in direct conflict with these Harvard experts.

Again, what sense does it make to aspire to attend Harvard University and, at the same time, totally disregard their learned expertise and dire warnings as expressed in the words of Dr.  Powell:   “Simply stated, a worldwide health crisis is emerging and is becoming a hallmark of the 21st Century.”

Why are they doing this? What makes them think they have the right to expose everyone else’s children to wireless radiation while at school?

Most seem to be moms, but what kind of moms are they? They won’t look at the information. It is a “public health crisis”. The very least they could do is err on the side of precaution.

    They should all resign.

You know I try to mostly ignore the anonymous posts that NEVER have any evidence to support what they are ascertaining, however I really do think it’s necessary to point out that the mother who founded the local group,”Parents Voice USA”, is not only a Harvard graduate herself, she also raised two sons who went through the International Baccalaureate program at Troy High School, and have both received scholarships into some of the most prestigious universities in the world at the ripe old age of 16, so you would be hard pressed to convince me or any one else that M.J. Noor is an “idiotic conspiracy theorist”

I personally think that Fullerton children would have greatly benefited by electing M.J. Noor to the Fullerton School Board.

Instead they got a bunch of retread incumbents that the teachers unions support in order to enrich themselves.

          Note to Fullerton voters:

Your being played not only by the public safety unions who work 24/7 to get their candidates elected to city council to enrich themselves, but also by the local teacher’s unions and phony groups like NUFF,and candidates like Sharon Quirk Silva, whose quest for better salaries and benefits for Teachers and administrators in Fullerton, now eats up greater than 85% of the amount budgeted each year in Fullerton to educate our children.

          • #5 by Anonymous on July 9, 2016 - 10:30 pm

You can’t prove a negative. There isn’t any credible evidence to support the theory that consumer wireless devices cause harm, so there you go.

  2. #15 by DR-J on April 14, 2016 - 12:12 pm

Well from a Technology standpoint, if the school allows students to use devices that produce this radiation, it could cause interference with any antiquated existing wired technology already in use. I hope they have a big budget to replace all those CAT 5 cables running throughout their classrooms with the shielded upgraded CAT 6 or 7 cabling. Otherwise when students use the new chromebooks, the interference of WIFI could cause their office desktops to stop working if there is enough interference.
From a classroom standpoint, students aren’t allowed to use WIFI in the classroom unless the students are instructed to by their teachers (AR 6164). So teachers using Google Classroom to teach their classes would have to give students a wired way to do so. Hence the need for upgrading at least part of the campus into a tech savy “wired” safehaven. This means more networking cables and places to “plug in.” It also means more network traffic through the schools wired network, which doesn’t necessarily increase the amount of data being downloaded (since all students are required to use the schools wireless system in order to download data while on school premises) but would increase the amount of data if a school that only previously had wired connections suddenly offered wireless to all students who would be required to use the schools wireless system in accordance with the Districts AR 6164 policy. Thus making the schools wireless data plan much more expensive to provide to students.

From a budgeting standpoint, wireless is the initially cheaper and less safe alternative to cabling. Accessibility will allow more info to be downloaded while students are “wireless” which may increase the amount of data downloaded by students and amount of radiation produced, which makes a “plug in” connection more affordable and more safe, unless it is a true unlimited/non-bottleneck data plan. Whether it will be at the cost of students health however remains to be seen. More research should be done into the types of devices being used before a decision is made “officially,” which could benefit the school later if any legal action is taken because of students developing illnesses.

          • #20 by Anonymous on July 18, 2016 - 7:12 am

            You are a liar.

You are going to extra lengths to defend indefensible ‘leaders’, so-called parents, who push for wireless tech that will fill the classrooms and mandate all day exposure of students and teachers to microwave radiation.

Microwave radiation has been studies for decades because it is used in radar and covert weaponry. The science studies number in the thousands and the truth has been denied for decades. The kids and teachers are getting sick in these classrooms.

Why are you lying? Do you hate the kids and teachers?

            • #21 by Anonymous on July 18, 2016 - 9:36 am

No shit it’s been used in RADAR and weaponry… at power levels many orders of magnitude greater than any piece of available consumer communications equipment. Wifi is completely harmless.

I’m sorry you don’t understand math or physics. Must be hard tying your shoelaces in the morning.

This is what those that continue to ignore the science on microwave radiation and raise money and push for more wireless devices in schools create. This is the harm done to children and teachers. If you are not actively helping to stop this, you are turning your backs on the kids. No excuses, you are part of the problem and are responsible.

They don’t care because their egos or beliefs about wireless radiation outweigh ALL OTHER CONSIDERATIONS. All other considerations have been subordinated to the use of wireless.

This is so important to them, that they are willing to throw everyone else’s children under the bus to achieve their selfish, ego-driven goals of irradiating all Troy students and teachers.

        Dear Mr. Imbriano:

As you know, this firm represents the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, and this letter responds to your most recent written demand for access to the Troy High School campus, and
presumably to whatever parts of the campus you wish to see. You have previously demanded access to campus beyond access provided to other citizens and parents of students, and were
denied that access. You have also been notified of a belief you intended to record activities on campus, and the legal concerns associated with that intent. Your most recent request is denied. At designated times there are organized tours for parents of
incoming students, specifically during Open Enrollment orientation events. You are welcome to participate in those tours on the same terms as other parents, and are of course permitted to attend events on campus that are open to the general public or open to parents of Troy students.

The campus is not otherwise open to parents or others for guided tours or special access. Again, your request/demand for special access is denied. We trust that after receipt of this letter
you will understand that future requests/demands for special access beyond the access provided to others are also denied. Additionally, please be advised that if you again make such
requests/demands in the future you should not expect, nor will you receive, correspondence informing you of what you have already been told on multiple occasions.

The problem with science is that it gets corrupted and the scientific method is ignored. The Gardasil vaccine is a case in point. The vaccine was compared to the aluminum adjuvant rather than a true placebo. Since the aluminum adjuvant had serious side effects including death in clinical trials to vaccine was deemed safe because it wasn’t shown to be significantly more dangerous than the adjuvant.
