The Brea Dam Scandal goes on in Fullerton with wagons in full circle


LISTEN CAREFULLY AS BARRY LEVINSON ASKS THE TOUGH QUESTIONS AND THE FITZGERALD APPOINTEE, GRECTHEN COX, TRIES TO SHUT THE WHOLE THING DOWN. NOTHING LIKE A BOX OF RUBBER STAMPS AND A BOX OF BLANK PAPER WHEN THE NUMBERS DON’T JIVE.  WELL THAT IS HOW THIS COMMISSION USED TO ROLL. NOT ANY MORE. THE LIGHTS ARE ON NOW AND THE CAMERAS ARE ROLLING.

    I have spent my career in public charity work for decades. The YMCA is on Corps’ property and is at risk.

    I am literally perplexed with David Curlee. While he did jump to some conclusions in his initial findings, there is plenty of substance to his allegations. Is there something I am not privy to here? Why have these findings been swept under the rug? How do you explain how Jan Flory, Bruce Whitaker, Doug Chaffee, Jennifer Fitzgerald, and Greg Sebourn have done literally nothing for months now about this. Where has David been?

    The amount of alleged impropriety surrounding the Brea Dam is staggering. There have been multiple citizens speaking repeatedly on this very topic. I want to know how or why Mr. Curlee has been totally squelched. I also want to know why he has remained indifferent to the behavior of Bruce Whitaker towards his long time appointee to the very commission whose jurisdiction this fell under. Barry was terminated AFTER bringing this up. What on earth is going on here?

    How did Mayor Fitzgerald and Bruce Whitaker get re elected in spite of their apparent complicity in this hornet’s nest of alleged malfeasance? Why was this not discussed in detail on this site? How on earth were they successful in securing key endorsements for their successful council bids with this ongoing scandal? Anyone? What am I missing?
