THIS WILL BE VOTED ON IN THE NEAR FUTURE UNLESS WE STOP THEM. THEY ARE TRYING TO RAM THIS THROUGH BEHIND OUR BACKS
Cameron Irons “Core and Corridor is a good thing. Read about it beyond Facebook posts. Current system benefits insiders who lobby each project on its own.” NOW IF THAT ISN’T THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK I DON’T KNOW WHAT IS!
Well after much careful thought, it looks like in a 5-0 vote our beloved planning commission just green lighted an Agenda 21 citywide red light district. Yup, you heard me. How many, is it 40,000 more residential units in addition to the 13,000 residents being added over on Nutwood College town nut house. You watch as the name of that street will live up to its etymology when you lock up 13,000 people in WiFi prisons with no yards. They will eventually figure it out.>Yes folks we are all gonna get loaded together with special global warming combating sun blocking 8-10 story tall monstrosities spanning entire city blocks to offset the wind blocked landlocked choking emissions of idling cars stuck in traffic garnished with permit denying, job killing in the fast track lane without any transponder and no speed limit. Yup double the population with the stroke a pen. That’s what Felz wants-complete power over development approval. Just imagine the possibilities of selling limitless high priced influence to developers.
What about traffic? Oh that’s a piece of cake. The experts tell us that no one is going to drive anywhere because the 90000 + additional residents will just go downstairs and walk right into yogurt land to get their breakfast, lunch, dinner, groceries, pills, booze, dime bags, baby formula, toilet paper, oil changed, soccer cleats, or their pet food and never use their cars. Ha ha ha ha ha. Hey look, it is no joke but that is the twisted pretzel logic that is being applied here. Oh yes and then there is the water, yes the water. This thing will sit right over the contaminant plume our our aquifer.
So why would any sane rational elected representative bury this ticking toxic contaminated water plume time bomb in our aquifer under 10 story high rises from here to kingdom come? Do we have any to speak of? I believe the current council majority comprised of Jan Flory, jennifer Fitzgerald and Doug Chaffee will do anything to generate revenues designed to float the sinking pension ship and to keep the public employee gravy train rolling down the tracks. That is why they were installed by the unions on the Council. Big development brings in big money for the city. Fullerton is for sale. Look folks the two year budget they keep passing will come to haunt all of us when the city finally will have to show all the unfunded pension liabilities on their books next year as a result of a new State law. You know what that means? Well for starters, it could spell the beginning of the end of the City of Fullerton’s solvency. So in the meantime, Jan Flory, Jennifer Fitzgerald, and Doug Chaffee will have to act fast and ram this through before the next election so they can account for the windfall ledger entries of future revenue that this treasonous disaster could bring to the city’s drained coffers.
Oh what about water? So back to the water issue. Oh it’s no problem as it is not even an issue being taken into consideration in this project. It is not even on the stinkin’ table. It only is a problem for you or I if we wanna grow our own food, plant some trees or wash our cars that we wont be able to drive and your ninny neighbor wants to rat you off the the water police. I guess these thousands of units will have to be connected to a massive solar powered condensation, dehumidifying water generating apparatus that is still in secret development while the auto mechanics all will be run out of Dodge at permit point.Yes folks that is what our leaders want to sell us. They all think that we just fell off of the turnip truck and they tell us this is progress. I am sorry, forgive me as I digress while the planning commission with all of the council members’ empty suit rubber stamp hack appointees look on.
After being rubber stamped by these development expert hacks who couldn’t find their way out of a wet paper bag, this nightmare will now probably go back to the council with this worthless commission’s blessing in August or September.
Before these three on the council hand over the keys to the kingdom to the fat cat builder man and the combo on the variance lock to some unelected bureaurocrats, like Uncle Joe,
we need to fully expose this thing and get it to the voters in November so we can send it to where the sun don’t shine, not rammed through in some back door deal on a midsummer’s night. When Fullerton’s is gone, she is gone ladies and gentleman.

As a resident and a taxpayer, I am requesting that this item be placed on the November Ballot leaving the final approval to the voters. There is absolutely no reason to ram this through right now. This is a one stop shop, one E.I.R., council bypass that, in my opinion, is too huge to be handed off to unelected city staff through the hands of you five. Going forward, there is no objective, honest way that you can conclude that green lighting such a massive project is in the best interests of the residents of this city, especially when hardly anyone knows about it. The insidious irony of projects of this magnitude and nature is that the scope of the public reporting requirements decreases inversely proportionate to the size of the development. Placing this on the ballot remedies that injustice to the residents.
This is leaps and bounds above and beyond the scope and magnitude of what is warranted at this time. It is an immense concession of checks and balances in the City’s long standing traditional approach to planning. Fast tracking makes sense in times of fiscal or other emergencies. The occupany rates of Fullerton housing is no where near 100 percent at this time.
This thing is a total Agenda 21 developer and variance orgy clothed in an affordable housing garb. Send the money back to the state and get Felz to disband the redevelopment has been dream team and you will have doubled your money in 12 months.
In addition, almost none of the claims that this thing makes are even remotely possible to accomplish. Mitigating traffic with a few more trash cans is an insult. I have not even mentioned that there are several legal challenges that will be brought forth if this item is moved forward as it is written.
Put the brakes on this thing and please do the right thing. Let’s look at this through the eyes of your constituents by placing it on the ballot where it belongs.
Thank you.

I like the above title of this post. It also aptly describes our Mayor Fitzgerald….Rotten to the Core.
As she continually fools the people of Fullerton with her built in ENORMOUS CONFLICT OF INTEREST AS VP OF CURT PRINGLE AND ASSOCIATES, she proudly proclaims that Love Fullerton Day is soon to be here.
This is a day when the city asks its citizens to help the city do its job by washing police vehicles, cleaning up the park, etc. We pay them very good salaries and the best benefits that money and corruption can buy and they want us to help them do their jobs for free. Only in corrupt Fullerton.
I think the idea could be a great one with a few major changes. Those changes is where the people of Fullerton help other less fortunate Fullerton citizens with maintenance of their houses or pledging to work at one of the many soup kitchens around town to help feed the hungry and the poor or volunteering to see an elderly resident who can no longer easily leave their homes. This is true volunteerism to help those neighbors less fortunate than ourselves and let the very well paid police department wash their own cars and the Parks employees clean up the parks themselves.

I hope you people here in Fullerton fully understand that volunteering, or having your school children volunteered, for this “Love Fullerton” event, that it’s basically a church sponsored/centered event which is mostly underwritten by Jennifer Fitzgerald’s own church, EV Free.

You want the police officers to wash their cars? LOL. You think they wash them now? Get a clue. Look at the citizen’s academy and all the other police events. The police here have plenty of support and if you and your 4 cohorts don’t want to be a part of this event, then stay home. You won’t be missed and it will all go off with perfection.
Love,

The idea was to not have Fullerton Day mostly about private citizens volunteering to do the routine jobs that our city employees and/or independent contractors should be doing instead.
