This interview has been greatly condensed here and a more detailed interview will be released at a later date.
The points being made here were that the officer’s actions appeared to make no sense and that an alleged innocent man who is, by the way, an epileptic, was for apparently absolutely no reason, allegedly accosted, downed and repeatedly tased in front of his two young children. It took place on, of all days, MLK day. this man referred to in the video by his fiance, who is African American, didn’t have the MLK day off and was actually cleaning up graffiti for his employer-covering up black painted graffiti a white fence with white spray paint. Does an fleeing robbery suspect hang out in plain view on a public street covering up graffiti? So at Fullerton City Hall tonight more very troubling allegations against our FPD. Can they live up to their phony PR press for one whole month without allegedly misbehaving?
I couldn’t believe that Fullerton Stories Davis Barber walked right past this woman on out the door as we were interviewing her. He apparently had no interest in the unfortunate alleged attack by yet another out of control FPD officer and covering this story. I didn’t see anyone from the Register or the Fullerton Observer express interest in this woman’s story either.
What was described at council was a sadistic cop getting his jollies by tasering a black man while he was working on private property on ML King, Jr Day. You must be so very proud Dan. Another one of your disciples running amuck against law abiding citizens.
Maybe the Chamber of Commerce can highlight this incident as a way to attract more minority businesses here in Fullerton. But it is one more way to put another nail in the health of our city.
Apparently another sick, sadistic person that our FPD has handed over a gun and a shield to while Danny boy allows them to do just about anything.
Wake up Fullerton. If any private citizen did half the things that our Fullerton police have been accused of on an all too frequent basis, they all would be locked up for many, many years.
Tasers are not the ‘non-lethal‘ weapons they are portrayed to be, by the way. This man could have been killed when the taser was repeatedly applied. You simply don’t do this to someone with a seizure disorder.
I noted that Danny is now afraid to sit in his previously everyday seat at council meetings. Our transparent police chief cannot even face the public for the limited time of 30 minutes imposed by our new so called “conservative” Mayor Sebourn. Gee continuing all the presentations and imposing a 30 minute maximum for the public, seems a lot like Mayor Chaffee all over again.
Televised murder of a homeless man, threats of grave bodily harm to protesters in custody, sexual predators in uniform, sticky fingered coppers, no one managing the sexual predators in Fullerton, the recent frame up attempt of Barry Levinson, alleged informant harrassment , and now some kingdom day love from one of Danny boy’s boys?
I guess we will see if the dash cam picked any of this up, if the body cameras were rolling, if the DAR’s were turned on and what the heck is wrong with all these men in black in this crazy town we all call home. Thank God this man will be ok, and his kids will get to see their daddy again. Kelly Thomas and Dean Gochenour sadly, weren’t so fortunate. Folks, the FPD’s reign of terror must come to an end now.

Wow it really pains me how ignorant people can be, you attack a man for standing up for an innocent family it sounds to me that you are one of those cops that just wants this to be swept under the rug. Well I got news for you me and my fiance are not going away what that officer did was abuse of his power to many people being beaten, killed and wrongly accused by the hands of the FPD where is the justice.Yes my fiance is epileptic and yes the officer stopped him profiled him and tased him when he was only doing his job. Not only did my fiance try to tell the officer but I myself and the manager of the property tried to tell the officer that my fiance was the maintenance man and was only doing his job. With all that being said, “From my own mouth” the FPD are just criminals hiding behind a badge. So Again I Say Where Is The Justice.

Did you get a response from our police chief Dan Hughes? How could Dan Hughes NOT reach out to you at this meeting? Is he concerned as CHIEF for the conduct of his officers when serious allegations such as these are publicly made? How about woman to woman Evangelical Jennifer? How about Ms. family law Flory? How about citizen of the month Doug? NOT A PEEP OUT OF ANY OF THEM.
Staff communications had no comments regarding these allegations. With the exception of Bruce Whitaker, is there no concern or compassion from the elected representatives or FPD leadership? Who are we supposed to go to for help? The FBI, The Justice Department? We know the media in town so far won’t help and internal affairs is still practicing for bong assembly in front of south Fullerton soccer kids.
Oh and then the so called journalists like the Fullerton correspondent for the OC Register Lou Ponsi who walks on out the door. Then Davis Barber from Fullerton Stories walks on out the door. Then there is the Daily Titan reporter who vanished and ignored the lesson for the 13,000 students over at Cal State Fullerton. What is this the twilight zone?
What if this all allegedly happened to, lets just say just Jennifer Fitzgeralds husband, hypothetically speaking. Imagine if you would, as he was getting into his car at Coscto after loading groceries and he was mistaken for a Neo Nazi skin head burglary suspect and taken down and repeatedly tazed by an FPD officer, then roped and tied like a wild hog on a Texas cattle ranch.
What would happen if his sister showed up at the dais complaining about this?. You think they would all ignore her and walk on by like she was radioactive or non human?
I commend your courage. The FPD murdered Kelly Thomas and got away with it with the help of the DA. We cannot tolerate this kind of behavior. The allegations of police brutality against an allegedly innocent African American on MLK day man with a seizure disorder having been repeatedly tazed by an officer who allegedly ignored warnings that the suspect had a medical condition are extremely serious. This whole thing reeks to high heaven. Maybe it is time to fire up the protests again.

Joe, it’s going to take more than just a few people to break this stranglehold.
The corruption runs deep and permeates just about every facet of government. Locally, you have to contend with the local media like the Register. That is a formidable task. In spite of its dinosaur model, its readership is still huge and its influence is extremely powerful in this predominately law and order county. The establishment machine knows this and this is precisely why they continue acting in such an arrogant manner.
Then you have to get insiders to come forward which will be very difficult to do. There is never any honor among thieves and no one wants to be a martyr.
Then of course you have to deal with the radicalized liberal posse headed by Quirk Silva, Keller and Kennedy who have all of the school district, police and fire departments drooling all over them and their empty rhetoric.
In addition you will have to be on the lookout for attempts to isolate, marginalize, discredit, or in the extreme cases, frame, physically injure you and your rabble or worse. No doubt, based on the accounts contained on your website, your group has already had first hand experience with this. Emerging unscathed thus far is clear indication that you have what it takes. Bear in mind that these people will stop at nothing.
Finally, and I wouldn’t take this lightly, but you have to penetrate the final layer of protection that always gets in the way. It is one that you would least expect to be an issue. It is comprised of phony conservative candidates and leaders like Jennifer Fitzgerald, Greg Seabourn, Larry Bennet, Rick Alvarez and Sean Paden. These are the personas, whose following, ensures that the balance of the electorate always tips to the left of center on the real issues. It is their total silence and abject cowardice which creates the comfort zone for corruption to flourish.
I believe that the FPD has gotten away with murder more than once, and it will kill again aided by the power structure that exists as an end in itself and clearly must be flushed out.
