Sean Paden That’s the one. He was on this page for a day, I’m told, and tried to push his lunacy here before he was booted off.

Which was smart because he did the same thing to the North Orange County Conservative Coalition, and it wound up destroying the group.He would spam all the members with anti wifi screeds daily, demanding people support him and when people asked to be removed from Joe’s email list he would curse them out as not caring about children. As a result, longtime members simple removed themselves from the NOCCC list entirely.

Oh, and one more thing: Joe was 100% pro Bruce until October of 2015. He was at a meeting with other Fullerton conservatives and was pressing Bruce for bis endorsement in the 2016 council race, which Bruce did not give. It was only then that he started to turn on him, and the went full negative when Bruce removed a political ally of Joe from Parks and Recreation. So Joe’s rage is all personal.

Dawn Urbanek I for draining the swamp – I don’t think we could do worse- with people off the street- but make sure to clean house with the Staff as well – some of the Staffers have been there forever- they teach all the new people bad habbits.

    The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is investing $52 million in CureVac, a German company involved in making vaccines. It is the largest ever investment by the foundation in a company, reflecting a new strategy of not just giving grants but supporting and having a stake in businesses.

    The investment, part of a round of $76 million round for CureVac, will allow the construction of a manufacturing plant to make products using the company’s technology, which will use mRNA, the messenger chemical that gets genetic information from the gene into the parts of cells that make proteins, as a template for creating new drugs and vaccines.

    CureVac is pioneering the use of natural and chemically unmodified mRNA as a data carrier to instruct the human body to produce its own proteins capable of fighting a wide range of diseases. CureVac’s novel technology is the broadest and most advanced mRNA therapeutic platform and allows for rapid, low-cost production of multiple drugs and vaccines. Additionally, CureVac’s mRNA vaccines are thermostable, which eliminates the demand for cold-chain storage and infrastructure, a major challenge in the vaccine supply of most developing countries.

    “If we can teach the body to create its own natural defenses, we can revolutionize the way we treat and prevent diseases,” said Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, in a prepared statement. “Technologies like mRNA give us confidence to place big bets for the future. We are pleased to partner with CureVac who has been pioneering this technology.”

    “This collaboration will ensure that one of medicine’s most promising new technologies is applied to the challenge of reaching all people with the affordable, life-saving vaccines they need,” said Sue Desmond-Hellmann, CEO of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, in a prepared statement.
