If anyone thought I was too harsh with Bruce Whitaker on the video above consider this. He had for the 5th, 10th or 50th time the opportunity to make a motion to change when a deadline specific agenda item comes before the council. What did Bruce Whitaker do after I presented this simple option to him? He did absolutely nothing for the rest of the council meeting. No motion, no discussion, no acknowledgement of this simple and quick fix to a problem that has been going on at city hall for a very long time. This tells me that this issue is not due to a city council or city manager oversight but is indeed done intentionally.

With regard to Bruce Whitaker, I think it is way past the time that he is held to account for his failures to the people of Fullerton. The truth is what I clearly highlighted during the October 4, 2016 public comments. The facts are that Bruce Whitaker did not even attempt to do the right thing for the people of Fullerton, even ever my comments at city council. I call someone who makes such a big deal over lack of disclosure and then intentionally helps to perpetuate that situation going forward, a complete fraud and phony. He is definitely someone who has earned a one-way ticket off our city council after 6 years performing his political theatre.

    • #2 by Joe Imbriano on October 6, 2016 - 10:56 pm

The only reason Bruce is being slammed so hard is because he pastes on this veneer of being a conservative statesman. This type of behavior is to be expected from the rest of them but many people have put their trust in Bruce to do the right thing. He has a lot of people fooled but in reality, he is an establishment operative who maintains the status quo by pontificating when it is too late and never acts when it could make a difference.

This business of approving the mystery grants and blank contracts is a complete and total dereliction of duty. These people are supposed to be looking out for us and instead, are taking orders from Felz and company. Like Barry said, Bruce huffs and puffs but never goes far enough to blow the house of political corruption down.

  2. #3 by Anonymous on October 5, 2016 - 1:35 pm

Thank you so much for providing us this video. It is certainly most telling. It is so very obvious how guilty all the council members and City Manager Joe Felz are by the expressions on their faces. PRICELESS!

  3. #4 by Judgment Day November 8 on October 6, 2016 - 12:59 am

Thank you for exposing the dirty way Fullerton City Council conducts the people’s business. After watching it, all I can say is that all five council members are worthless frauds along with City Manager Joe Felz. Did you also notice that there wasn’t a peep from our City Attorney either. No wonder the City of Fullerton is in such bad shape. I do not know how they can even show their faces again on the dais. You point out how disingenuous they all are in the way they conduct business and not one of them had anything to say for themselves. I agree with the above comment that they all look so darn guilty while the presentation was ongoing. Anyone who is still planning on voting for Fitzgerald, Whitaker or Bennett (Fitzgerald’s appointed Planning Commissioner) after watching the video is either part of the corruption or in complete denial. Those two better hope that a majority of the voters do not see the video before they cast their ballots.

It was great to see each and every one of the people on the Fullerton City Council dais squirm when Zonya Townsend, Barry Levinson and Joe Imbriano spoke during public comments. They looked collectively like misbehaving children who just got caught in a very big lie.

Thanks to this website, I have come to realize how corrupt and disingenuous are the members of our city council. They truly do not represent us. Thank you so much for opening up my eyes.

  5. #6 by Disgusted with our Fullerton City Council on October 8, 2016 - 10:53 am

The jig is up for our Fullerton City Council members. They are used to fooling the Fullerton public and they do not like it when the truth is exposed one little bit. This is why you have a few anonymous cowards slinging mud at the truthtellers posting articles/videos on this site. For it is the Fullerton City Council and their operatives who are the bullies, phonies and frauds. Do not be fooled by the few crumbs they throw you every year such as Love Fullerton Day, First Night or Open House But Never Open Department Day at the FPD. For if you continue to fall for these distractions, those that run this city will continue to collectively laugh at all of you for being so uninformed and naive.

Advice to Fullerton City Council: If you do not like this negative attention, all you have to do is pull up your big boy or girl pants and start acting like honest representatives of the people rather than the self-serving, disingenuous politicians that you prove yourselves to be regularly.

For the proof is in the pudding. Not one of our good for nothing representatives would acknowledge a really serious problem with the way this city conducts business. All of them hanged their heads in shame, while ignoring the very simple solution handed to them on a silver platter. Is this the definition of a public servant or the definition of a public’s worst nightmare?

The decision before all Fullerton Voters this November is really very simple.

If you are happy and/or satisfied with our Fullerton City Government and the basic services they are supposed to provide to us, then by all means vote them back into office along with friends.

But if you are tired of waiting for the worst roads in California to improve, our sidewalks, sewers and water pipes to be fixed, then by all means vote all of them out of office.

Disgusted with our Fullerton City Council.

For anyone willing to listen to the facts and the truth, there is no doubt that those on the dais must all be removed as they do not represent the good people of Fullerton.

I know there are good people who so far have resisted the truth. I know it is very hard to acknowledge that you have been duped by someone you have trusted for many years. But to continue to ignore the truth only will make matters that much worse. Acknowledge that you were fooled as it was not your fault and now go out and vote appropriately.

Jennifer Fitzgerald’s and Jan Flory’s flying monkeys are up to their old monkey shines again Barry !

The good people of Fullerton really need to insist on a police oversight commission or continue to pay out these multi-million dollar legal settlements that we’re paying out, in addition to the $200, 000 a year that we paid Barry to “solve” this case!

    • #10 by Danny Boy on October 14, 2016 - 9:04 pm

An oversight commission wouldn’t know anything about a case like this. Shows what you know about police commissions. The. It’s powerful one in the nation is LAPD. They have zero power. Research it so you don’t keep looking like an idiot. When they say an officer violates policy, Beck says no and Beck gives discipline, which means he gives nothing. That’s why police commissions are worthless.

      • #11 by Fullerton Lover on October 14, 2016 - 10:09 pm

…speaking of looking like an idiot, here’s a great video of the campus security at Fullerton College using excessive force…tsk tsk!

Danny Boy did you say the same thing about the Kelly Thomas video?

            • #14 by Danny Boy on October 16, 2016 - 6:41 pm

Yep and the jury agreed with me. Right?

          • #15 by Fullerton Lover on October 16, 2016 - 9:00 am

…just seems reckless for this campus security officer to be engaging in physical altercations with young adults when he’s on a disability pension from the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

Wonder what the residents and taxpayers that are paying him to be disabled think about him outperforming the boys in the WWF?

            • #16 by Danny Boy on October 16, 2016 - 6:43 pm

All public information. No one hid anything. Just like when Fullerton hired Sissy. It was all love and kisses and atta boys for him overcoming near death. Then when Kelly fought him into his death, you wanted to hang him. That’s the norm now. Small groups want to hang good cops for nothing. Anyways, in the end the cops get paid and retired, just like Sissy and Manny. They are living happily ever after. As they should be.

…only a true horse’s ass, such as yourself Danny Boy, could ever characterize a 137 pound shirtless mentally ill man with three 200 -pound officers pinning him down on the cement while Cicinelli “beat his face to hell” (his words not mine) with the butt end of a service revolver, as: “Kelly fought him into(sic) his death.”

Do you even know what the truth looks like any more?

                • #18 by Danny Boy on October 17, 2016 - 11:27 pm

Ask the jury. They know. They saw the evidence. You didn’t. Not guilty ring a bell?

  9. #19 by Fullerton Lover on October 16, 2016 - 8:56 am

…you know what I think is really under handed about this particular campus security officer at Fullerton College, is that he is supposed to be disabled according to public records, yet he appears very physically able to body slam this former student down to the ground for not being able to produce a student ID card?

Granted the student that the CSO body slammed to the ground and then continually kneed in the head was probably only a 130 pounds soaking wet, and according to his friends, had never even been in a fight before, however if this man is on a disability pension, it sure seems reckless for him to be engaging in physical altercations doesn’t it?

    • #20 by Danny Boy on October 16, 2016 - 6:44 pm

It’s easy. Do as you are told when you are a drunk idiot. If you don’t, the law gives cops to do what they need to do to always have the advantage. No cop has to wait for the drunk to throw a punch or wrestle. 130 or 230 lbs all the same. Good job cop.

      • #21 by Anonymous on October 17, 2016 - 12:57 pm

If this security guard is receiving any disability benefits for his supposed physical condition, then it raises the question that he may be milking a system to help those in real need.

It seems to me that too many fellow Americans are so fed up with the depth of our Government corruption and the fraud, waste and abuse that it creates that many do not feel at all guilty to milk the system as well. It remains to be seen whether this security guard is guilty of such conduct.

    • #24 by Danny Boy on October 17, 2016 - 10:44 am

Entirely possible but hard to say. The California work comp system underwent so many changes over the years, it’s now an almost impossible system to work with. So much frustration for so many people. I know it’s very common for people to medically retire, get retrained in another profession paid for by the system, and then have another productive career. I know many medically retired cops that do all different types of security. The qualifications and requirements are probably very basic to be a security guard, so I’m sure medically retired and working as a security guard is just fine.

      • #25 by Anonymous on October 17, 2016 - 4:06 pm

        Danny Boy admits the following:

“I know many medically retired cops that do all different types of security.”

So Danny Boy admits that police officers after getting up to a 90% disability pension for life, which shields half of their pension from taxation, they then choose to rip off the system by doing similar work, i.e. security work. If you can do security work then they did not deserve and therefore should never have qualified for their disability pension.

The system is totally broken and those that are supposed to enforce our laws abuse them.

Those police officers are laughing at all the taxpayers as chumps.

        • #26 by Danny Boy on October 17, 2016 - 11:25 pm

They get nothing close to 90% for medical unless they also have longevity Retirement which is 28-30 years of work.

Remember Sissy was medically retired and all was found legal and well.

Yes medically retired cops can work almost any job. Once retired, no restrictions. Once retired, no ties to anything.

        • #27 by Danny Boy on October 22, 2016 - 9:39 am

Isn’t it great we can all have opinions? It’s what makes the world go round. If you don’t like the system, fix it. If you are the minority in opinion, you lose. Sorry.

    • #28 by Fullerton Lover on October 22, 2016 - 6:54 am

…although this story of a OC Deputy Sheriff being charged with workers compensation insurance fraud is a start, I have to wonder if the OCDA would be actually be charging this deputy with a crime if they hadn’t been confronted with a pile of evidence that the worker’s compensation Investigator uncovered ?

      • #29 by Danny Boy on October 22, 2016 - 9:41 am

Who hired the investigator? Cities and counties hire investigators all the time during claims. Post claims, nothing anyone can do. Remember Sissy? I’ve seen many get better after 5-10 years with tons of work on their bodies. But they can’t be cops anymore, but are fully capable of being contributing members of society, like Sissy. So your belief that someone else found this guy committing fraud is laughable. It was the same people you claim to laugh at.

” Fullerton College has a memorandum with the city’s Police Department that allows campus officers to “handle crime-related reporting and investigations.”

    • #31 by Danny Boy on October 22, 2016 - 9:43 am

Makes sense. Why can’t a medical retiree handle writing reports? Of course they can. They can also protest themselves from drunk idiots. 🙂

  12. #32 by Anonymous on October 18, 2016 - 7:43 am

Once again Danny Boy serves a useful purpose as class clown. He states that police officers have to work 28 to 30 years to get 90% of their medical premiums paid for in retirement. Wow the nerve of the Fullerton taxpayer to make these poor souls work until 50 or 55 to earn such paltry benefits. By the way I do not believe there is any retirement fund for medical benefits so the 90% is all on the taxpayer.
Yes Danny Boy certainly knows how to make the rest of us laugh. Once again, a hearty thank you to Danny Boy.

    • #33 by Danny Boy on October 22, 2016 - 9:42 am

Sorry. Nice guess. Retirement doesn’t get paid for medical unfortunately. So they pay just like the rest of the people for medical. You guys sure guess a lot on facts and are usually wrong.

    • #34 by Danny Boy on October 22, 2016 - 9:42 am

I’m sure you think they don’t pay into their retirement programs too right? Go ahead. Explain that part to me since you seem to know LOL

Well based on this alone, either Danny Boy is right that no one pays any attention to this site and therefore the number of Danny Boy’s comments makes him verifiably crazy….or

Danny Boy’s comment about this site holds as much weight as all his other comments combined.

In either case, thanks for the entertainment value Danny Boy.

Anytime buddy. As you can see by looking thru this blog and the former FFFF blog, I accounted for more than 50% of the posts. I’m the entertainment. I’m the whole blog. Without my posts this place dies instantly. Go browse the posts. It’s amazing. I have to show up to kick start it just to get a few replies and get some people going. Otherwise it’s Joe and Barry and Fullerton Lover standing around circle jerking each other.

I wish there was more to discuss in Fullerton. The city is running so smooth, it’s literally dead quiet now. Has been for years. Anytime the haters can only bring up a few things from many years ago, the police department is doing a good job. I haven’t seen anything current brought up here in many years.

I miss the days of Bushala and Travis though. One big incident brought out all the haters and that was fun. Then Bushala and Travis got it rammed up their arses almost instantly and poof they were gone back to smoking joints at Tony’s house with Tony’s roosters.

Fullerton has great cops and great employees. The new Chief and City Manager will have easy jobs when they take over next year.

So Joe and Barry. Find something good. Something more than wifi and pensions.

      Let’s party.

I have always said I will support the jury verdict and them and only them will weigh all the evidence and render that decision. So I feel they are 100% not guilty and I’m glad the city paid them off and I’m glad they are now contributing members of society again, as they should be.

Yes, Joe and Barry need to be on medication. I suggest they hang out with Bushala and try marijuana first. It seems that when Bushala moved to smoking weed all day everyday he mellowed out a great deal and now he isn’t heard from any longer.

Sure we could all head over to downtown Fullerton and party at Bourbon Street, where the comedian at the Autism fundraiser the other night, openly gripes into the microphone that he’s down on his luck, and that’s the only reason “he’s in Fullerton for retards”, and city council woman and pandering politico for the police officers and downtown bar owners in Fullerton, says that it’s all in good fun and doesn’t see what all the big fuss is about for calling people with autism retards in front of a crowd full of people that are actually there to erase the mind set of people like herself, and she still doesn’t get why their offended?

We could take pride in knowing that downtown Fullerton and it’s proliferation of bars, is doing one hell of a job in attracting out-of-towners looking to hook up for a one-night stand, after the readers and staff of OC Weekly named downtown Fullerton the best place in 2016 in Orange County to find a one-night stand!

Doesn’t sound to me like much of a celebration so I’m afraid I’ll have to pass on your invitation to party.

    Thanks anyway : )

That sentence was so long I couldn’t even figure out what you were trying to say. Something about retards and bars.

See ya at the SlideBar. I remember when Ron’s army promised to shut that place down forever. Another bet I won.

Would you like to bite a fried pickle?

      • #45 by Fullerton Lover on October 23, 2016 - 8:39 pm

        Yeah your right.

Maybe you should read it firsthand from people that were in attendance at the Fox Theater’s “Fullerton Cares” fund raiser for those born with autism…

“I really appreciate that he came to Fullerton and shared his comedy with our city.”

–Mayor Jennifer Fitzgerald, referring to actor Andy Dick, who had that night used the word “retard” to refer to autistic people during the annual Comedy Show for Autism.

According to an October 20 article in Fullerton College’s newspaper The Hornet, comedian Andy Dick used the word “retard” in reference to autistic people during a charity event Thursday night meant to raise awareness of the condition itself. Event organizers Fullerton Cares quickly released a statement distancing themselves “from (Dick’s) statement onstage and emphasize that we do not condone or endorse this type of language,” referring to the actor’s “slur.” The statement went on to “apologize deeply to anyone who was affected by this language.” (see illustration below)

According to the Hornet Andy Dick ‘“began speaking on his brother who has just passed away, but that his brother had been dying for “twenty years” and had been asking Dick for money, to which Dick said “That’s why I’m in Fullerton for retards.”” Half of the attendees reportedly left the main room of the Fullerton Ballroom as the comedian was booed from the audience.

Andy Dick himself later apologized, writing in a statement “I shouldn’t use that word.”

Incredibly, Fullerton Mayor Jennifer Fitzgerald, who attended the benefit show, was wiling to defend the unpredictable actor’s comments, saying “I really appreciate that he came to Fullerton and shared his comedy with our city. I think this isn’t the last your (sic) going to see of him, that is not the word that will define him,” and “I know Andy Dick in his heart, and his personal connection with autism and I think that it’s more than one word. I think he regrets the use of that but that in fairness we need to look at the whole body of who he is and who his family is.” (Andy Dick referred to himself in the article as being “slightly autistic,” saying “I honestly feel that I’m on the spectrum,” but it is unclear in the article whether or not Mr. Dick has ever been formally diagnosed with the disorder.)

Fullerton resident Kris Hanna had more sense than Mayor Jennifer Fitzgerald, telling the Hornet that she thought it was “crossing the line to say what he said about autistic people.” Another attendee, Fred Allen, said of Andy Dick’s comments ‘“Off cuff, should be better suited for where he’s at, especially the retard shit man, America’s a beautiful place and you shouldn’t take advantage of what America’s good for.”’

Mayor Jennifer Fitzgerald should reconsider supporting unsupportable behavior, and keep in mind that when she speaks to the media, even a local college newspaper, she will be viewed on some level as representing the City of Fullerton, even if many would prefer that she wasn’t in the position to do so”.

Brad thank you for being another Fullerton resident onboard with us and our goal to wake up the good people of Fullerton to the follies of their elected officials and the negative impact it has on the citizens of Fullerton as well as its business community. The quality of our roads certainly does not attract people in other cities to shop here in Fullerton

  16. #51 by Barry Levinson on February 3, 2017 - 1:47 pm

Please note that during the public comment presentation, the council members could not and/or would not make eye contact with the speakers. They were looking away or down most of the time. This is a sign of disrespect. Why did they look so guilty if they are doing the people’s business as they all profess?

  17. #52 by Fullerton - The Most Corrupt City in California on June 1, 2017 - 9:35 am

The fact is that their silence, their total failure to discuss and vote on very easy and workable solutions tells you all you need to know about each and every council members. As Mr. Levinson indicated, they are indeed frauds but even more than that, they consistently fail to properly represent the good people of Fullerton. Anybody with the slightest integrity and who has paid some attention to the various shenanigans being pulled by our council would never ever vote for any of them again.
