Another high density project passed by the sellouts on the planning commission

Yes another 1000 people are going to be crammed right on top of the old chevy dealer.

Say goodbye to jobs, and hello traffic and a parking nightmare from Westwood coming to a neighborhood near you. Yes the same developer tools that passed the ruinous DCCSP for Fullerton namely Gambino, Silber and Johnson and the newbie, Fitzgerald sycophant Dunlap going along for the ride stuck it to the residents last night. Well can’t blame Barry Levinson and I for at least giving it the old college try. For months we have showed up and spoke against ramming these high density housing projects into existing neighborhoods that eviscerate the remnant of our 6% total of commercial property left in the city. One thing is certain ladies and gentlemen, once elected, these hacks on the planning commission that have repeatedly demonstrated how they contiously hold the residents in derision while they hold the developers in esteem, are going to be in for the ride of their life. You have my word on that.

In recent years our Fullerton City Council, despite the objections

of most residents, has continuously approved the building of high-density

housing developments.

Adding more people to Fullerton’s population means more demands

on our roads which are already crumbling from congested and heavy traffic,

and more demands on our scarce, overtaxed water supply.

My name is Joe Imbriano and I propose an immediate moratorium on

any new major housing developments until the following conditions are

met:

* Fullerton’s streets are repaired

* Water use restrictions are lifted

To ensure that Fullerton experiences responsible growth in the future,

I have authored a Right-to-Vote (Smart Growth) Initiative like the one

(Measure B) that Yorba Linda’s voters approved a few years ago. My

Right-to-Vote Initiative would give you, the voters, the final say on any

proposed major housing development in Fullerton.

Enough is enough!

I am the only candidate who has offered the true solution to

Fullerton’s overdevelopment.
