WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON OVER AT THE FULLERTON AIRPORT?

At the November 21, 2017 Fullerton Council meeting, Mike Blackstone, Joe Imbriano and myself spoke about the lawsuit and things related to it. Unfortunately both Mayor Bruce Whitaker and Council member Jennifer Fitzgerald behaved rudely and disrespectfully to the speakers.
Mike Blackstone, Barry Levinson and Joe Imbriano speak at the 11-21-17 Fullerton City council meeting as Air Combat USA filed a $500 million dollar lawsuit against the Fullerton airport manager, and the City of Fullerton alleging breach of contract and more.
While both Mr. Blackstone and myself were speaking on this subject during public comments, Council member Jennifer Fitzgerald saw fit to smirk and laugh throughout our presentations from the dais. What kind of an arrogant, contemptuous individual behaves in such a manner while representing the good people of Fullerton? Obviously the answer is one Jennifer Fitzgerald.
Next, Mayor Whitaker added to his many previous sins by not being truthful while both Mr. Blackstone and myself had the floor to speak to them. I spoke about the fact that Mike Blackstone of Air Combat USA, Inc., who between himself and his father spent the last 38 years being a tenant at the Fullerton Municipal Airport, met with Bruce Whitaker about the failure of the city to provide him a new lease for his business. When Mr. Blackstone did not receive any follow-up from our Mayor, he decided to attend the last Talk Around the Town that our Mayor holds monthly. You know the one that is advertised that the Mayor will answer the public’s questions about any matter concerning our city. Well Mayor Whitaker would not acknowledge Mr. Blackstone during his question and answer period although he had his hand up throughout that part of the event. So after being I believe intentionally ignored by our Mayor, he waited to the very end to approach the Mayor just to have a minute of two of his time. Mayor Whitaker brushed him off stating he had to leave immediately.
So what did Mayor Whitaker rudely do while I was speaking, he continuously shook his head “No” and mouthed words denying my comments. These poor excuses for elected representatives demand from us that we be respectful and follow their self-imposed rules but when it suits them they throw all the rules out the window.
Of course, the remainder of the city council ignored our comments as well. That would be Doug Chaffee, Greg Sebourn and Jesus Silva. I believe that all five council members know or at least at this time should know that the city has breached its contract with Mike Blackstone of Air Combat USA. And what do these corrupt moral midgets (and I am not referring to their height) do, they along with our new City Manager have placed an agenda item for the very next council meeting to change (I suspect expand) the zoning for the Fullerton Municipal Airport for one of the main antagonists against Air Combat USA who wants to take over their space at the airport. I am referring to a relatively new business at the Fullerton Municipal Airport, called Hanger 21 owned by La Habra Reserve Officer Robert Sims who works as a Reserve Officer in the Narcotics Unit of the La Habra Police Department.

Finally, since Mr. Blackstone reached out to Joe Imbriano and myself prior to filing his lawsuit against the city, I can state unequivocally that his case not only has merit but that he has the documented proof I believe necessary to prove his case before a judge or a jury.

My history with Fullerton airport is as follows, 1 I work on helicopters as a specialty 2 I was asked to work on a helicopter there,,I was waiting for my customer when an airport car approached the north gate,,,two persons in the car both unknown to me..driver said ” want do you want what are you doing here” in a heated and unwelcoming tone..IIn my mind I was saying ( I’m waiting for a fucking train asshole) yet said I am waiting for my customer to work on his helicopter…..3 months go by I was drinking a beer in a friends hangar and he said” I have a friend at Fullerton who needs help with his airplane” OK so I look up his friend Mike Blackstone a favor of a friend to his friend is a friend???? OK I start my inspection process on one bird and another and get a history of the fleet and the business..OK lets see what I can do,,,,,Five days later N16FD after being cleared by the FAA ramp inspection eats four other birds and a hangar on take off…Mike and I were in the air flying lead and our sister ship never popped up..the conversation is as such..Mike and me asking where are they over and over..we’re over Knotts so we ask for a frequency change tower” don’t call we’re busy”,,,,Mike called again,,,tower ”your planes in the hangar” we called again,,Fullerton airport is closed…we over flew the airport and sure enough N16FD is in a hangar with the tail sticking out….Mike wanted to land andI told him to declare and emergency with the following words “aircrew on board who is familiar with aircraft and is crash rescue qualified” so we landed and pulled up right behind the fire engine and ladder truck…I saw one bird gushing fuel onto the ground a ring of EPA wheeny surrounded this growing puddle (I instructed the ground personnel to put a drum under it ” easier to fight if lit”) N16FD was still live and pumping fuel into the hangar with the strobe flashing…I entered the hangar and safetied the aircraft..I exited the hangar ..from what I saw the fire department was unqualified to respond to any aircraft incident let alone any crash….if they could find a way into the airport….and there was the person from that airport car on a cell phone…not only was he an ass he was worthless in planning for these regular airport happenings ( been all over and had responded to over 200 crashes before the “second responders showed up”…) then Mike began to get more visits from the airport manager ..acting like a real estate agent or rental manager ..then he got the eviction notice ,,and I as an employee stripped the themed furnishings drop ceiling and the hand rail….and moved 35 years of aviation parts and business ( interrupting all my aviation duties ,,of course the ignorant airport manager “rented the place furnished??? when the customary rule was to return the hangar to original moved in condition(this is what other airports do,,unless other arrangements are made in writing before hand ,and this micro managing manager never properly communicated with myself or others from my observations..I did during the move found out who was in the airport car with the airpot manager ..Larry Blackstone Mikes uncle,,,,,,,I was accused by the airport manager of vandalism ..I told him I have no idea what you’re talking about…he was always playing the big boss type,,and he had no clue nor will ever have..I was then given the musical gate card treatment guessing which gate my card would work..I concluded the airport manager other than being worthless to the airport was a complete DICK,,,.anyway I was in a customers helicopter on hot and windy day doing a track and balance..my customer was flying and we received a tower message” Helicopter N12345, the airport manager wants you to hover over 20 feet cause you’re blowing debris around the helipads”” I told my pilot to ignore that command cause out bird does not like 114 F and 35 knot wind gusts…the pilot was by intimidation of the airport manager,,he hovered above 20 feet and we got a tail gust up the exhaust and the engine had a compressor stall and we settled down to a few inches from the runway ,,this pilot never had a compressor stall before and froze…he and the bird recovered and I did my required post stall inspections and made my complaints known…FAA did nothing and so I brought it up to the 5 Dec 17 city hall meeting open session to put on record what the airport manager caused ..a human factors incident by a history of tenant intimidation and bullyings and went on to say that the fire department was in need of aircraft crash training ( the fire chief loved that one the chief said a line of bullshit where his department met the standards (not for aircraft crash response)…..I told what happened and listed to all the other citizens complaints Mike’s business concerns Rob Sims bullshit on his secret security plans for the events in the old AirCombat hangar ,,Helistream made a written complaint as well due to their helicopter operations next door to possible human sushi….But I liked it when Sims parked his travel trailer behind the Skythrills hangar blocking a door (can you say fire code violation “permitted or not”) the police were hot and heavy to tow until spoken to by the airport manager,,then it was above our pay grade and we’re here to keep the peace..too bad I was not a Sheriff ..the airport manager jailed and the police suspended..Oh and after the city council meeting I was confronted in the hallway by the airport manager and the police chief wishing a go to blow moment..can you say threat under color of authority and intimidation??? the next day the fire training office retired and later on the chief of police got his butt in a sling…..only with Fullerton..also the Cessna 414 that crashed in Yorba Linda ???why would a plane have a custom N number and not be owned by Sims???N= USA 414= Model number and RS= Rob Sims ……did a phony cop get whacked by a La Habra reserve narcotics cop ?(who I believe is a crooked cop???) a machine shop owner and an events operator??? a 135 want to be? ) money drugs and prostitution????? never stay around someone who “poses a cop draw down ” and has a look of utter disappointment when a witness is looking him in the eye….cause he can’t shoot……every airport I have been welcomed to do my work ..at Fullerton the death gaze comes from the manager ,Sims and the two pencil whipping FBOs there….Fullerton a very unsafe airport due to the HUMAN FACTOR…
