I have heard the trustees for both the FSD and the FJUHSD both repeatedly state that there number one priority is the safety of all the children in their charge.
With the acknowledgement that safety is even more important to them than giving each student a good eduction, it is not defensible that when school districts have a choice as to whether to have internet access for the students using wifi or with wired classrooms, these trustees have chosen wifi.
If Mr. Imbriano, Ms. Hickey and many other parents along with numerous scientific studies are born out to be true that indeed EMF radiation can be injurious to the health of both kids and adults, you the trustees will look more than foolish. Indeed at that point you should be held accountable for the health and safety risks you openly ignored and the negative health and safety consequences for many of your students in your charge.
I always attempt to understand when a government entity voluntarily chooses to make such a unwise decision. In this case, since there is a good and financially feasible alternative of wired classrooms, I can only come up with one feasible reason for your last of wisdom. It is that politics trumps the safety and health of both the students and the teachers in your districts. That would be more than sad, it might reach the level of criminal neglect.
