This is inspite of years of warnings from myself and others. He did this in front of the entire city council. Yes Joe is a hero because he is willing to speak out when the great majority are too afraid to do the right thing and that certainly includes our elected officials.
I do not condemn our elected officials for not agreeing with Joe or Barry but I do condemn them for their repeated failures to discuss the very issues that they both bring to the Fullerton City Council on a regular basis.
That failure to have a discussion on those many issues brought to them by both gentlemen proves that our city council members are a bunch of phonies and cowards and certainly do not have the best interests of the citizens at heart. Their ongoing unsupportable behaviors demonstrate conclusively that they do not deserve to represent us on the council or in any position of governmental power.
What is their response to those in the public who question their judgement and wisdom? It is to reduce the amount of time we have for public comments. It is to decide to shred city documents that in the past had to be saved as part of the public record and for public scrutiny.
Now one of these phones and cowards, Bruce Whitaker wants to be promoted from a city job to a state job, increasing his salary and benefits by 10 to 15 fold.
I would suggest deciding on a write in candidate rather than even considering voting to promote Whitaker when he has been a complete failure over 8 years as a Fullerton City Council member.
