I don’t support rubber stamps. I support compensation for good work. Our teachers, police, and fire do good work 99.9% of the time and 2% raises each year should be a minimum.

What’s your take on how the son of a former OC Supervisor, Bill Steiner, get the ringing endorsements from law enforcement, yet the guy has actually been censored by the state for soliciting sex from the bench and having sex with the women he solicited from the bench inside of his Judge’s chambers?
If you or anyone else can read this article and tell me that this county’s justice system isn’t rigged, I’m either calling BS or the Justice department to see how their investigation is going into corruption within OC

What has been my answer over and over to you and the perfectionisits in this world? 1-2% of all people are bad in some way. Be it sex, stealing, bad choices, or whatever. Those people are in every profession, no matter how much you think they shouldn’t be there. So yes, 1% of judges are bad people with terrible lives behind the scenes. Takes time to get them out but eventually all bad people get caught. Always. Criminals as well. Imagine how many times a criminal does a crime before he actually gets caught? That’s why punishments should be more severe, not less like now. So yea this judge was a horny SOB but it doesn’t make all judges bad, and it doesn’t prove that the OC criminal justice system is corrupt either. Nice try though.

I totally agree with you that every profession has a few bad apples within it, however my beef is that in this case, that instead of plucking the bad apples out of the before they spoil 98% of the goods ones: Superior Court Judges, deputy district attorneys, OC Supervisor Shawn Nelson, law enforcement unions, and even the Orange County District Attorney himself, T-Rack, are all actually PROMOTING this Judge Scott Steiner when they all agree to lend all of their names to this Judge’s campaigns with ringing endorsements!

wow i just went to that Voice of OC blog. I read the Irvine council lady’s post. Holy smokes. Chemerinski and Cantor and all them are harsh! I even read in there where one guy was saying the other guy was doing blogs at work under the name Reality Is. Ha!! Love it!! I can’t post on there because I’m not sure how to make a Reality Is name on there LOL. People are so mean to each other it’s amazing. Yikes.
