Joe Imbriano on Vector Control’s plans to spray pesticides all over OC

If it were not tragic it would be laughable how some trustees on the OC Vector Board think that some of the public speakers are not being respectful.

Well I got news for the board member who stated that and all those board members who probably agree, and that is get off your golden thrones and start acting like public servants.

For the only people that were disrespectful that afternoon were the vector board members themselves. They were disrespectful to the public in the following ways.
    1. They allowed each member of the public only 90 seconds to speak to them. That shows tremendous disrespect to every one who came to that meeting to speak to them.
2 They held the meeting at 3 pm in the afternoon. This makes it almost impossible for anyone who has a daytime job to attend. How dare they pick such an inopportune time to hold their “public” meetings.
    3. They very rarely if at all respond to the many thoughtful and heartfelt concerns posed by the public speakers. I guess they believe they are above us and if they do not feel that way then why do they act that way.
    4. How dare they consider aerial spraying of the general population when they do not have nearly enough evidence to support such a decision.
    5. Lastly, if they respected us and our health they would not be making a decision without the necessary information to make a safe and informed decision.

It is you, the members of the OC Vector board who have demonstrated yesterday and every meeting that you hold at 3 pm, total disrespect of the OC public.
