Fullerton City Council Meeting Results by Barry Levinson
They are considering 3 options to reduce the water loss at Laguna Lake. However, the only action taken on Laguna Lake last night was to approve a consultant contract to determine the cause of and solutions for the water loss and bring back the results NLT the July 21 council meeting. I will keep residents informed when this item comes back to council. The rest of the plan was officially approved at the meeting.
The willingness for this council majority to basically rubber stamp this plan (everyone except for Council member Whitaker) shows that this council really has its own agendas and is not interested in representing the people of Fullerton in my opinion.
Why do I make that claim? Simply because something this important that will impact almost everybody’s pocketbooks, lifestyles and maybe even health and safety (potential for brush fires) requires reviewing the plan with a objective but critical eye in order to improve the plan. How often have any of you put together a draft proposal quickly and believe it was the best you could do and make no improvements going forward? The answer is never!
As soon as you try to hold city departments and/or council accountable it seems that Council member Flory can’t contain herself and has to defend the city. To paraphrase her at council – “nobody’s perfect”.
Ms. Flory nobody is expecting perfection but competence and a willingness to work with independent members of the public would do for starters.
P.S. One of the highlights as far as entertainment value was concerned was watching Council member Fitzgerald staunchly support the idea of adding more high priced PR/Consultant personnel under the guise that Public Works needs them to provide basic information about construction projects to the public.
I questioned the propriety of her unwavering support for the motion to set up a list of NO BID PR/Consultants with the language that more could be added at the whim of the city. I said that at the very least her support gives the appearance of a conflict of interest.
Ms. Fitzgerald like a good politician did not respond to my comment. What conflict you ask? After being elected to the Fullerton Council she was hired as a Vice President of Curt Pringle and Associates, one of the largest PR/Consultant firms in Orange County. But why do you think she was hired after she became council member and not before? I guess it was just a coincidence.
P.S. Final vote for additional PR/Consultant list was as follows: Aye’s Fitzgerald (who probably never met a PR/Consultant she did not like in my opinion); Flory (who at a past council meeting said the following to a council member (paraphrasing) – your mother did not breast feed you enough; Ms. Flory is such a lovely and charming lady),
Chaffee (who not once but twice asked to be able to scuba dive at Laguna Lake; Mr. Chaffee that was over the top even for you sir)
and our own “conservative” Mayor Sebourn.
No’s: Whitaker
P.S. Question: How does a “conservative” earn of living promoting big Government and big Government projects? I think someone should ask Ms. Fitzgerald that question at our next council meeting.
Maybe just maybe that shows more than just the appearance of a conflict of interest. Where does our City Attorney stand on this subject?
Maybe someone should ask him that question at the next council meeting as well?
I report, you decide!

Thanks-you just authorized $250,000 for a bathroom for a two fire women while the boys can use the girls bathrooms showers at school while not offering one thin dime to the residents for water saving shower heads which cost $3 each in bulk. You are willing to spend $2,000,000 on lining a lake that can be fixed with $200,000 and not a thin dime for water saving toilets, water saving faucet attachments or drip irrigation incentives for the residents.Gray water systems and hot water heater attachments should be in every home yet even in new construction, for years knowing this mess was coming while you dumped 150,000 gallons a month into the bottomless pit on our dime. Did any of you do anything to address any of this or head this off? Nada!
Now you are about to authorize tens of thousands of new residents with College town and thousands more with the DCCP and openly admit that we are already overdrawn on our water allotments. You people are bunch of elected buffoons with check writing authority for the Fullerton city taxpayers. For the better part of a year, you ignore the geo engineering activities that have blanketed our skies, call me a nut job and particularly Ms. Flory, you deny the scientific findings of the chief water scientist at JPL. He is talking out of both sides of his mouth and you refuse to look at the fact that the water is still under the ground. His work proves it beyond a shadow of any doubt. Whats more is prop 1 which you supported didn’t have a stinkin’ penny for a single dam? This is not insane, this is evil. Prop 1 appropriated nothing to increase storage of surface runoff while Pelosi increased the amount of fresh water that must reach to ocean to 90 percent last year and you didn’t even have the human decency to specifically ammend the language of the measure to exempt residential food producing gardens on drip systems while the farmers that flood their fields have carte blanche access to a commodity that is ostensibly in short supply.
You all have continued denying the obvious weather modification, the evidence for and the patents for which you have been provided with here- https://thefullertoninformer.com/californias-geo-engineered-drought/ not a rain barrel in town because it wont rain and the band plays on Tuesday nights while you political animals try to out maneuver the light of day.
I am also aware of the water quality control board’s leadership that to this day ignores the lake of raw sewage under downtown Huntington Beach where the massive network of broken sewer pipes under the ground feeds the massive lake of raw sewage that is still contaminating the beaches and endangering the health of the public in Sewer City USA.
Orange County has a wonderful water reclamation system. Ms. Flory, for years I dated several of women that worked at the Brookhurst Plant and Ellis Plants. I was a Biology major and a Chemistry major and for a while, entertained the possibility of a career in the field. I understand the aquifers, the hydrological cycle, primary water, the injection wells, our allotments, and our massive tax base including bonds and use fees that fund this world renown marvel. It is what it is because we pay for it and that is what these people are paid to do. It is however, no excuse for or cover for or a propitiation for your continued betrayal of the residents, denial of reality and personal attacks on the dais.
What concerns me is how our own elected representatives cave to and blindly enforce tyrannical edicts while ignoring the causes and simple solutions for the demise we find ourselves in.The central valley is in trouble but that does not mean we are in Meniffee or San Diego. The wells on my friends property out in San Juan Capistrano are thousands of feet deep and haven’t dropped and inch. The wells on my friends property in Fallbrook haven’t either. Dave said ours in some places have dropped 3 feet while others have not.
Ms. Flory, the only voodoo going on here is what they are spraying in the skies to modify the weather and the re-wilding of our country with Agenda 21. It is upon us, Fullerton was signed on on your watch, geoengineering has been going on for close to 20 years and because all of you are too stupid to look into what is really going on, the next phase will be to expose the total fraud you are blindly rubber stamping and ramming down our throats.
Fullerton could have been a hub for Autism research and instead it is a microwave radiation matrix with coming forced vaccinations, it could have been a hub for water reclamation solutions and water saving innovations. Instead it will become the poster child for the Detroit look a like contest with the town awash in liquor, violent gangs, dead trees, dead grass and busted up roads, titty bars, vape chains, massage parlors, liquor stores on every corner and on the dole zombies in your tilt ups with tens of thousands of college students on the road to nowhere with brain dead leaders running it all into the ground with the pension tsunami washes ashore. Oh but don’t worry, the closed session negotiations will still go on so the greedy police, fire and city employees unions can still suck us dry until all the people in the room wake up to the reality of the fact that they just turned off all the water and you cannot eat money.
