    I’m not a student of history, but the Nazi Germany comparison has me wondering about how and why people will turn their heads and backs on those that are being forcibly assaulted.

    That’s the part that is the hardest for me to understand. Is it “fitting in”? Is it fear of social retribution, loss of income, etc?

    The thing these school board members don’t seem to grasp is how far reaching their decisions are. They aren’t just affecting the children in their district, but children in all districts.
