WHEN RED WHITE AND BLUE MAKES GREEN: Ron Thomas settles

Ron Thomas settling over the death of Kelly Thomas with the City of Fullerton

RED blood stains on

WHITE hospital sheets

And black and BLUE

All  for refusing to play doctor with deranged cops back dropped by a law and order system clearly aimed against us.

Kelly needlessly bled out in the gutter or did he?

The colors of the American Flag are symbolic of those who FOUGHT, DIED AND BLED out RED barefoot in the white snow under a BLUE sky for our freedoms.

KELLY THOMAS, AN INNOCENT MAN, BLED OUT SHIRTLESS IN THE GUTTER UNDER A DARK SKY UNDER THE WEIGHT OF THE DARKNESS OF UNIFORMED THUGS AND IT MUST BE NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. IT WILL NEVER BE IN VAIN.

EARLY REPORTS FROM SOURCES TO THE FULLERTON INFORMER INDICATE A 4.9 MILLION DOLLAR SETTLEMENT HAS BEEN REACHED WITH RON THOMAS OVER THE BEATING DEATH OF HIS SON KELLY THOMAS.

Truth be told, the hope of ever really getting justice for the gruesome murder of Kelly Thomas  has apparently been buried along with the victim himself. The settlement virtually guarantees that the truth will probably never come out about the macabre details of the inner workings of the FPD, the criminal justice system and how it handled this horrific murder.

When Ron Thomas exercised his options today, the colors RED, white and BLUE for the first time in Fullerton’s history finally combined to make GREEN.

3milliondollars

While the final decision on the payout lies in the hands of the Fullerton City Council, the real decision on whether or not these colors should ever combine to run green again rests in the good people of America.

As the acquitted murderers roam free from a rigged criminal trial, waiting in the wings to sue for their jobs back, and The Corrupt Fullerton establishment tries to buy their way out of this one with our tax money (yes our tax money pays the insurance premiums and the massive increases that are coming), we must not let this issue fade away.

If justice is not served for the televised murder of an innocent man, then justice no longer exists for anyone in this country. This case had all the trappings of a slam dunk. We had a body, motive, intent, weapons, eyewitness accounts, audio recordings and of course video evidence. What we did and still do not have are honest and ethical individuals in the judiciary, in the city government and of course the apparatus of the criminal justice system. ‘

The system is not broken folks, it is working just fine. The system in simply inverted and has been turned against all of us.

In terms of justice, today, I believe that the death of Kelly Thomas was NOT finally proven to be in vain. The efforts of those who cried out for justice will live on in the hearts and minds of all of us that have a sincere hatred for injustice: never again on our watch.

I cannot blame Ron Thomas. I cannot judge Ron Thomas. He did what he felt was right. No one can ever walk a day in his shoes and ever fathom what depths to which his soul has been plunged over the loss of his son. My boys are still alive.

What I can do is make sure that something like this never happens again to anyone in my hometown and in yours. From educating our youth on how to deal with the police, teaching them how to deal with their government, involving the electorate in the day to day of what makes Fullerton roll, and keeping our eyes, ears and cameras on all facets of the power structure, change will come.  The only real hope we have is top down honest local government for the people and by the people. We have no such thing in Fullerton right now. They just spent 4.9 million dollars on a broom and dustpan purchase to sweep under the rug the biggest pool of blood, heist, travesty of justice, tragedy and expose of the establishment’s moral compass in Fullerton’s history.  The election is next year and many of the vestiges of the old guard in Fullerton’s power structure think that they can finally just put this all behind them with all of our money. The hell they can.

CLOSURE FOR KELLY’S PARENTS PERHAPS.

“The same apparatus is still in place in Fullerton.”

    Yes, it is.

Sad sad day that Ron settled. He talked such a good games about justice and everyone being on the stand. In the end, money prevailed for sure.

$3 million? Really! Wow. With expenses his attorney takes over $2 million. So Ron gets a million. He could have got that the day it all happened like the mom did.

Disappointing. Imagine Cici on the stand. Ramos on the stand. Hughes on the stand. Just like Ron promised.

    Keep imagining.

I wonder what it must be like for all of the individuals you mentioned to face their own children on a daily basis?

Children are very tech savvy these days, and I’m sure that they’ll all see their Fathers some day, beating a homeless, and shirtless, 137 pound, mentally ill man to his grave while he screams out for his Father with his last breath?

Not the legacy that I want to leave for my children to remember me by.

      • #4 by Reality Is on November 21, 2015 - 1:18 pm

I’m sure they don’t care. Have to remember cops and their friends and families think the cops were in the right the whole time. All blame on Kelly. No blame on them. That’s why Cici is enjoying retirement delivering mail and Ramos is coaching kids little league. I’m sure they both received medical retirements from Fullerton as well. That writing was on the wall the second they were found not guilty.

How Ron Thomas makes a killing off a killing, would have loved to hear, on the stand, for all to read- how he did not do one thing for his son, and now we citizens have to pay for this, Ron Thomas, dad of the year- over his dead son body…o he got that too! Blood money, will never ever bring him happiness, or ease. How Come he didn’t sue his pal in crime Dan Hughes? Just askin. The only job he has had for years is pretending to care about his son. Garro has to be paid back the thousands he gave to Ron- so with taxes and the rest Ron runs home with less than the city offered him origionally. So the Thomas family has become millionaires off being a horrible relatives- yeah Mericka.

    • #6 by Reality Is on November 21, 2015 - 1:20 pm

It really is sad. Ron promised so much to so many about justice and facts and Hughes and Cici and Ramos all being forced to answer questions. Then he gave it all away for money that he could have got a day after it all happened. Ron is a camera whore and always will be. It’s all about the money. Ron Ron Ron. I still can’t believe you caved to the pressure.

  4. #7 by Reality Is on November 21, 2015 - 1:22 pm

i think what Ron realized was that Kelly did run. He did flee. Just that alone combined with the loss at the criminal trial, he ran a risk of getting nothing. Garo couldn’t risk that either with all of his loans to Ron and all of his expenses. Money won for sure.

    • #8 by Fullerton Lover on November 23, 2015 - 12:38 pm

      $$$$$$$$$$4.9 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s the amount that the residents of Fullerton will be writing a check to Ron Thomas in order to settle this case.

You think the Fullerton Police Officers Association will be doing any fundraising any time soon for the Friends of Coyote Hills to buy that park that they’ve been fighting for?

      • #9 by Anonymous on November 23, 2015 - 12:28 pm

Insurance money-Ron sure had you all fooled. How much do you think he is going to give to the homeless in Fullerton?

        • #10 by Anonymous on December 6, 2015 - 7:43 pm

Marlena you were right Bitch! God I Hate saying that! Fuck U Ron Thomas! You can take your $ and shove it up your Lieing Ass! Your Dear Dad is Rolling in his grave!

If it turns out to be true that Ron Thomas has settled his civil case against the city, I will be very disappointed in him.
But it does not lesson one little bit the depraved, criminal acts at the hands, feet, fists, legs and taser (weapon used as a bludgeoning weapon) of the FPD. That evening it is clear that Satan was in control of the FPD…and Danny Hughes no matter how clean and pressed his uniform may be, it will always be stained with the blood of Kelly Thomas. So as you plan your retirement Chief Hughes, I hope you contemplate the hereafter that God has planned especially for you.

    • #13 by Reality Is..... on November 21, 2015 - 5:12 pm

I’m sure that Hughes and Cici and Rammy and all the others don’t really care what anyone thinks. They honestly feel that they did the right thing that night and that it was all Kelly’s fault. I do think they feel bad that he died, but they didn’t intend to kill him. That was the key to the criminal trial, and might have played into the settlement was well.

I’m very disappointed in Ron as well. Very. I was looking forward to going to the trial for several of the days. Like Ron said, this was going to be the one time that all of them have to talk, have to give their story, have to give their reasons, have to explain why they did what they did. Ron said it over and over for years, promising justice, promising answers, finally. Even as soon as November 9th he said it. He sold out to Kelly, Kelly’s Army, and anyone else across the world that has followed this case.

  6. #14 by AnonymousII on November 21, 2015 - 3:19 pm

Of course Ron Thomas settled. he talked a good game though, had many of us convinced that he really sought justice for Kelly. No one wins. And our hearts will always weep for Kelly Thomas…who BEGGED and Pleaded for his LIFE. RIP Kelly, you did not die in vain!!!

  7. #15 by Anonymous on November 21, 2015 - 5:19 pm

Ron stated to many of us that he would never settle, because making the truth known to the public about July 5, 2011 was his bottom line. If this story is true then he simply did not keep his word to us and much more importantly to his son. I guess the chance that he would not win his case or that the jury would give him less money then what was offered to settle was enough for him to take the money now and run. Again, I hope this is not true. But if true it shows that Kelly’s mother showed much more class by just settling in the early stages and allowing herself to grieve privately for her son.

  8. #16 by anonymous on November 22, 2015 - 5:22 am

Cathy Thomas has always been a class act. She kept her retail job after receiving her settlement. She still goes out several times weekly to help the homeless without fanfare or media blitz. I’m not surprised if Ron settled. He would’ve have also been scrutinized on the stand, especially trying to prove how great the loss of his son was to him. The son that many knew but never saw his dad. The son that when Fullerton PD alledgedly called him when Kelly needed help, the requests for help were alledgedly met with hang ups to outright refusal because Kelly was their problem or told not his and the ocassion a denial of a son. FPD had some dirty laundry to air, no doubt about it. But there’s a good chance Ron Thomas had some, too. A settlement was probably the best for both sides. Sadly, it didn’t do anything for poor Kelly. There’s still no justice for Kelly Thomas. That’s the saddest part of all of this.

  9. #17 by eddieoceanview on November 22, 2015 - 10:16 pm

In the end Ron Thomas chooses to uphold the BLUE WALL of SILENCE by not pursuing those responsible for his son’s murder. Kelly’s cries to his father would not of mattered because good old daddy remains a cop to the core of his worthless soul. Enjoy your county pension and the settlement money your son died for. Hollywood should be your next calling since you managed to pull off a believable performance these last four years. Maybe an Oscar for “WORST FATHER” is in your future.

Let’s make this clear. Fredrick was never a cop!

  11. #19 by Anonymous on November 23, 2015 - 2:17 pm

I hope the FBI will investigate this and maybe justice will be done by them. Does anybody know what has to happen to get them involved?

  12. #20 by ATM on November 24, 2015 - 8:33 am

Ron will be all over the South Pacific for a while. Wait for the book and the Hollywood movie when he gets back. Danny boy and Ron worked this whole thing out real nicely.

  13. #21 by ShouldOfBeenFredinstead on November 24, 2015 - 1:42 pm

Fred is a liar that never loved anyone except himself and his dogs and $$$$.
Hell has a place for him, the killer pigs and all those that stood by and lied for him. That cash will be the end of Fred/Ron and the city of Foolerton.

    • #22 by streets on November 24, 2015 - 2:08 pm

Kelly gets waxed, Fred gets paid off to keep quiet, piggies get paid vacations, and get to keep their jobs, pensions and a hit list, Hughes and Felz get evergreen contracts and we all get fucked.

Is Ronny really just going to run off into the sunset and not say a word to anyone about his settlement? So very strange. I guess the real Ronny finally was confirmed. Media whore that he is, money whore that he is. Just takes the cash and poof gone.
